1. Daily cleaning
2. Change of linen every 3 days.
The beach is awesome! The sand is light, entry into the sea is very convenient, especially for those who are afraid of a sharp drop in depth. The view around is fabulous - palm trees, mountains...
The staff is very polite, attentive, they began to learn Russian, because. there are a lot of Russians there this year.
There is no animation, but for us it was a plus - peace and quiet.
In general, this is a hotel for adult couples.
Almost everything that was written about him on the Internet is true!
The hotel is now 30% full. Mostly Germans, British, 10-12 Russians. There are practically no young people. Married couples with 1-3 children, and / or husband + wife + mother-in-law / father-in-law.
In the evening, no entertainment, after dinner - like in a morgue. 2 pools (one for children), a large pool equipped with diving towers, depth: on one side 0.8 m, and on the other 3.8 m. The water is clean, chlorine is a minimum.
Around the pool table tennis, billiards, various exercise equipment. There are eateries on both sides of the beach where you can grab something to eat or drink. The beach is luxurious! The sand is clean, 50-70 meters fine, then the bottom smoothly goes into the depths. for us, sunbeds and umbrellas are free of charge, and for outsiders - 3.5 euros per nose per day. A local guy walks around and collects to give from everyone who has towels not from the hotel. In the morning (until 10-30) there are 3-4 couples on our beach, more on the neighboring beach. No one takes sunbeds, in the sea
they swim a little, sunbathe, read, talk on mobile phones... 5% of the ladies are topless.
Food: breakfast buffet - yogurts, juices (from packages), scrambled eggs, bacons, sausages, cheeses, sweets, coffee....
In general - a normal breakfast for 3-4 stars. Lunch: less than 10% of the guests dine from almost the entire hotel, so everyone in
lunch is served by waiters. At lunch, there is practically no choice of dishes (as in 2-3 star hotels), only Greek salad or cucumbers
with tomatoes + olive oil, and stuffed tomatoes were served once, for the second or fish (one and the same)
or meat (beef one day, pork the other), watermelon for dessert (only) and ALL drinks are paid!! ! Bottle of water - 2.6 euros
(in a nearby store 7 times cheaper), beer 3.5 euros (6 times more expensive), I am silent about strong drinks.
Dinner: salads and snacks with dessert + fruits - buffet, although the choice is monotonous and does not pull on 4 stars. There is a soup (1 or 2 positions),
but for the second - a poor choice: only 2 positions every day: either fish or meat. Drinks are all paid as in lunch.
We paid half board and, having refused dinners, we went to the hotel for lunch in the afternoon, and dined in the town (neighboring) or
bought grub in a supermarket (prices are lower than in Moscow "Perekrestok" or "Auchan") and dined on the terrace in front of our room,
under a palm tree 200 m from the gently noisy sea. In neighboring taverns, 15-20 euros are taken from the nose for a salad, meat / fish dish, coffee
and a portion of "ouzo" - aniseed vodka (very good with ice). At the end of dinner - a free drink from the establishment. Portions are huge if
have been to Germany - no less!
The room (I took a picture for you, then I will send it from Moscow) fully met expectations: a bungalow with very modern technology
plasma on the wall (but only one channel on the Russian RTR-Planeta), shower and bath, large full-wall window overlooking the sea, condo,
safe (free of charge), refrigerator, telephone, large terrace with palm trees, 50 m children's pool, in which almost no one
does not swim. On the terrace there is a table, 2 chairs, 2 sun loungers, an umbrella.
There are beautiful tiles on the floor and walls of the toilet, beautiful furniture, a large (huge) bed, a table, chairs, armchairs, etc.
no hotel! I hooked on the WiFi of a nearby hotel and for 5 euros I got access to a fairly fast channel for 90 minutes.
I sit on the terrace and surf the web from my laptop. At the reception they said that somewhere (and where they don’t know) there is an Internet cafe,
in which for 3 euros per hour you can climb the Net. (Then we found 1.5 euros for half an hour). I want to emphasize that this hotel (as they wrote) is mainly for people
sedate, not seeking adventure!
It is quiet here in the evenings, there are no animators, no music, as in a small German town in the evening after 20-30.
But the neighboring "Ikaros Hotel" is full of life: a lot of young people, music plays, children and adults are "spud" by animators. He has
spa salons, shops, hairdressers, restaurants, car rental, etc. For the young and active - the way there. For 20 euros per day you can
take a quad bike and go to neighboring towns, a car for a day and 40 to 100 euros, depending on the brand and size. A solarium costs about a euro, gasoline 1.2 euros.
The sea was stormy all 10 days, there was a constant breeze and therefore it was not hot - 25-28 C. Only one day there was a calm sea, but without wind - horror! 35 C and it's impossible to breathe!
Ordered so far 2 excursions: Knossos Palace and, a day later, o. Spinalongi. Local operator Gea Travel - guides are terrible. they barely speak Russian. The booklet says more about the Palace of Knossos than she told us. About Heraklion - 10 min. along the pedestrian street, to the left is the market, and to the right is the church. For 2 hours, the bus collected people from all hotels and then it turned out that at the end of these fees, 5 people came to 1 seat on the bus !!!!!!!!! ! They sent a taxi, and there 2 mothers with 3 children barely spread out. Organization of the trip below the plinth. During the trip, the guide - Konstantin - chatted with the driver, not paying attention
no attention to us!
The second excursion about. Spinalonga is total darkness! For 53 euros from the nose! ! brought to a small bay with a beach line of about 100 m, and then another 5 sailed there!!!!!!!!! ! steamboats! Don't change clothes, don't lie down! 2 hours in the heat, and then "barbecue" on the steamer. Cucumbers and tomatoes piled on a small plate
above - a piece of meat, half a glass of sour wine, without any tables there, practically on weight, swaying on the waves. Then we sailed back, a 30-minute tour of about. Spinalonga, where the lepers lived, and then to St. Nicholas. There is very little information, 10 minutes walk around the city. and were released by the lake for 30 minutes.
On about. Our neighbors went to Santoria, the sea is rough and not everyone can withstand 5 hours of pitching.
