After receiving the keys, our suitcases were immediately loaded into a cart and taken to the room. The room has a hairdryer, kettle, 2 bottles of water, bathrobes, slippers. Soap is only liquid on the wall in the dispenser, cotton buds and caps.
Breakfast from 6:00 to 10:00, good, there is a choice: boiled rice (how could it be without it), rice with vegetables, Thai pasta and spaghetti, bolognese sauce with minced meat, bacon, fried eggs, fried eggs and boiled, toast, cereal , three soups, fruit for fruit salad, yogurt, watermelon and pineapple. Coffee and tea.
Wifi in the room, good signal. There is a TV, there are many channels, but there is only one Russian one. The pool is located on the 4th floor. But we only used it once.
If you go out to Jomtien beach street, turn left and walk about a kilometer, there will be a night market. You can have dinner there. The average check is 400-500 baht for two. We were also advised to go to the market near Pattaya Park Hotel. By tuk tuk 5-6 min towards the center and then along the Russian street 5 min. We liked it more, in terms of choice.
Excursions: before traveling to Thailand, reading on the Internet, writing to several agencies (some did not even answer). We chose the Nika Travel Pattaya agency and made a schedule for our vacation.
Thanks to Anastasia for this, she removed some excursions altogether, she said that they intersect with the excursions that we will visit. After checking in, I phoned Anastasia and made an appointment. Discussed all the points and received vouchers. We liked all the excursions, everything was clear and without delay. For comparison, our operator: Cambodia - 1.200 (Nika - 6900 baht), Samet island, 2 days - 4000 baht (Nika - 2600 baht). Kwai - 5200 (Nika -3700 baht). What is called, feel the difference! We went in small groups, the guides were Russian, they told interesting stories. We really liked the work of this company, for which, thank you very much!
We also went to the fish market in the north (end of Naklua Street), shrimp 320 - 400 baht per kilo. There you will be fried, for 30 baht. A couple of times we went by ferry to Kolyan Island). Liked the beach with the monkeys. Thien Beach is also good, but the gentle entrance to the sea is suitable for those with children. We went to the shopping center Terminal 21 and Central Festival.
Nothing special centers like centers. But near the Central Festival, from the side of the second street, you can taste crocodile meat. Grasshoppers, cockroaches, scorpions - they did not dare to try, although they saw that they were being sold from the tops. Fruits: mango - 50-80 baht, passion fruit and dragon's eye - 80-100 baht, watermelon - 25 baht (all per kilogram).
If we compare Pattaya with Phuket, we got more emotions in Pattaya. And everything was simple and easy. Will we return to Thailand - yes, to Pattaya - yes. In this hotel - we do not know, everything will depend on the price.
The hotel is worthy, I didn’t regret it at all! ) There is a TV in the room (NTV, RTR), a safe, a hairdryer, a kettle and two glasses, tea and coffee bags are not put in the refrigerator every day two bottles of water, a clothes dryer, 5 hangers in the closet -shoulders, WI-FI (the password was given upon check-in along with the key and coupons for breakfast! ). In the bathroom, only shower gel in the dispenser! Shampoo, conditioner, soap take with you or buy there! Cleaned in the morning mostly, towels are changed every day, bed once a week. The bed is huge. The room was spacious with a view of the sea and the pool. The pool, by the way, is not bad, sometimes I went for a swim, even in the evening and at night. Towels at the pool (blue) are issued immediately, and beach towels (brown) at the exit from the hotel (you sign in the magazine).
Be sure to take a protective cream with you, because. without it, it’s hard not to get burned, even in the rainy season, and there it’s a little expensive with good protection!
The only negative, but it's not the hotel's fault - it's the Chinese. Noise from them, just guard. They come and go every other day, in whole buses, and yell at the entire corridor early in the morning. On the other hand, they do not let you sleep through the beach time. We tried not to go to breakfast with them. Without them, silence and everything is in abundance, no need to wait. Everything else is great.
Breakfast buffet. Fried eggs, races, pasta for garnish, a couple of meats, 2 types of soups, steamed vegetables, tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, watermelons and pineapples! For 2 weeks there were a couple of times pancakes. Coffee machine, tea, drinks!
Around the hotel there are many shops 7/11, exchangers and cafes. Three hundred meters and a fruit market with a square, tables are set on it in the evening. Cheap and no worse than cafes. Along the embankment to the south for about 10 minutes slowly, more market, rags... and food. A lot of food! You can eat right there, you can take it with you. So in this regard, the location of the hotel is very good, especially for a budget holiday.
The sea is dirty and there were often low tides, so you had to walk around to swim! Mostly went on excursions (River Kwai - 2 days, Cambodia - 2 days, Alkazar transvestite show, the famous Walking Street, Madam Nong Nooch Tropical Garden, 3D gallery, Temple of Truth, and boat trips around the islands! Massage parlors near the hotel along street in one direction and the other! In the exchange office I changed not only dollars, but also rubles (large bills - 1000.5000 - the rate is better)
I’m unlikely to return to Pattaya, a beach holiday is better on the islands! ))
On the sea, you have to walk to the right along the street where there is no road. It is cleaner and calmer there.
We recommend having lunch in a cafe on the next parallel street from the entrance to our hotel right across the house, the hostess's name is Tao. She understands and speaks English. Normal, tasty, inexpensive Thai kunya. Lunch can cost up to 100 baht.
