In the morning, delicious croissants, pancakes, thin pancakes. Mostly we didn’t try pastries, but sliced muffins are delicious. From the main restaurants, food can be taken out to the room and to the pool. A la carte restaurants operate mainly according to the following system: appetizers, desserts - buffet, main course - on the menu, there is a wine list (for a fee), you can bring cocktails from the bar with you. We liked all the restaurants, except for the Italian one (there is nothing new and everything is a buffet). Before reaching the beach, you can have a bite of grilled chicken before lunch in an outdoor cafe. The hotel has 9 bars, Pacha disco, 2 stages, 6 swimming pools, water park, spa, gym (which is always crowded), there is a tourist shop (there is no fruit). For shopping, including fruit, you can go to the San Juan shopping center ($ 5 / person there / back), 3 times / day, tickets at the reception. You can also buy fruits on excursions to Saona, Samana (we did just that). Anex has a free trip to the Factory, where we bought coffee, rum, cosmetics, souvenirs. Our guide Alina from Aneks forgot to offer us this trip, we had to ask ourselves. The beach near the hotel is good, but we were not lucky - all the days there was a yellow and red flag, strong waves, it was impossible to swim. There were no seaweeds. They said that there were no waves on the right side. We walked for 3 hotels, but there are the same waves, and there are a lot of algae in the ocean and on the shore. Enjoyed the holiday!! ! The beach is simply amazing, wonderful sand, perfect cleanliness, no algae or jellyfish, the ocean itself is of unique beauty, you should swim in it yourself, words and photos cannot convey this beauty, even through a video! The hotel area is comfortable, everything is divided into zones, there are already 8 pools for various types of recreation, active, with animation, with slides, not many, only 4, but cool, with a bar even with tables and round chairs right in the water, right there in there are water loungers, a great place for an afternoon cocktail, or just calm for relaxation, for deep swimming, playing for volleyball and basketball, so for sure for every taste. A wonderful gym, its own sports RiuFit with morning workout programs. We had a great time and had a lot of fun. When choosing a hotel, there were many requests, and they all coincided in the Riu Republica hotel. And we were helped to choose this particular hotel by an excellent master of his craft, and simply a wonderful tour agent Dmitry Kukin. Quickly, efficiently, without any delay, and most importantly very professional and most importantly in the top ten according to all wishes. We turned to him on the Internet, or rather through the social network VKontakte. We found it quickly, just as quickly picked up and issued everything, in general, everything is super! We were traveling with a group, so we booked three different rooms with different requests and all turned out to be excellent, everything we expected and even more. The rooms are fresh and clean, we had a side ocean view, but we can say that almost with a direct. The room is spacious, everything you need from water to a premium alcohol dispenser. One large bed, in our case, 2 x 2 meters, incomparably comfortable. Sofa in the living area, coffee maker, comfortable and large shower room, you can easily fit together. We had just an amazing terrace with a table and chairs and a view, just a gorgeous view! Cleaning is excellent, even if something could be forgotten, then on the first call to the reception everything was immediately brought or replenished, and then only a couple of times, basically everything is fine. And of course separately about food and drinks. There is a lot of everything, alcohol in any high-class bar, even champagne. Large selection of sushi and rolls. Stewed seafood with vegetables, an excellent selection of cheeses, there was jamon and cold cuts, a large selection of fruits. Smoothies, juices, ice cream, sweets. 9 restaurants for the most picky customer, but the steakhouse was beyond any competition. 10 different bars, you can even order a wonderful romantic dinner. The whole company is just delighted, it was just a mega vacation!
