I’ll make a reservation right away: you can relax in Montemar ONLY if you can use the infrastructure of the neighboring Costa Lindia hotel, which is located across the road from Montemar. So the review will actually be about two hotels a little at a time.

I must say right away: the beds were not moved, they were not looking for dust. all they did was wash the conder grates on their own. He began to work quieter and cool better. The big minus is sound transmission. You can hear EVERYTHING from neighboring rooms! True, there are few guests, I already wrote, mostly service staff, who are always at work.
Nutrition. Upon arrival, we were told that we were eating at the main Costa Lindia restaurant. in a la carte access is forbidden to us. Well, okay, let's do it. Everything was delicious and varied, every day you could find something new, meat and fish were always present. Chefs respect and respect. A big plus: whenever you come, there is always food, you won't go hungry. Minus: the waiters did not always cope with cleaning dishes and preparing tables. and yet - instead of normal juices there was yupi, and coffee could be made natural. but these are trifles, the overall positive impression is not spoiled.
Bars. There are five of them. At the reception paid with imported drinks, the main round under the restaurant, between two pools with a positive always dancing bartender, near the beach, open from 18.00 and a beach bar until 18.00. The quality of drinks, both carbonated and alcoholic, as for a European power, leaves much to be desired, to put it mildly. In my opinion, it was possible to drink only water, beer and wine. My husband still used ouzo, since it is unrealistic to unbosom him. Cognac, whiskey, gin, tequila were 20 degrees maximum.

The sea has always been different. sometimes waves, sometimes quiet, sometimes cold, sometimes quite comfortable. but we did not find the temperature of the water "like fresh milk". There are few living creatures in the sea, only a few species of fish were seen.

We rented a car from the nearby Lindos Princess Hotel for 100 euros for 4 days. for 3 days we completely traveled the entire island, on the 4th we rushed to the water park. But there were no Greek dishes at all. There were grilled seafood at a price 3 times more expensive than in a tavern next to the hotel. The road home turned out to be worse than to Rhodes: upon arrival in Rhodes, there were no problems with customs, the suitcases were received very quickly. The opposite is true: you can put oil in a suitcase no more than 2 liters, and be sure to pack the suitcase in a film.
