It seems to be a large area, but everything is compact and convenient. And the staff are great fellows. Everyone works hard for the benefit of tourists) Everyone is friendly and ready to help right now.
We got a room in the main building where the reception is. But this did not bother us, because all the rooms are comfortably furnished, modern appliances and decor. Also on the territory there are bungalows, some with their own pool or lawn. Fruit trees and flowers are planted everywhere.
The work of the chefs in the main restaurant deserves special attention! Everything is very tasty and fresh. I was pleased with the Fruit bazaar counter, where you can take whole fruits with you (pineapples, oranges, bananas, melons, peaches, nectarines, etc. according to the season). We visited the "a la carte" restaurant once. Everything is on the level, they tasted seafood.
The bar prepares good cocktails, high quality alcohol. Beer will always bring salted popcorn and peanuts.
In the evenings there were musical performances, discos, cooking classes, tasting of vintage wines that can be purchased.
The staff is English speaking, but if we had any questions, we turned to the guide Mouzenidis, Sofia helped with everything.
When we went to Santorini, she ordered us an early breakfast, opened a restaurant. I really liked the program, the island impresses with its architecture and sea views. Special thanks to the guide Maya, who became the decoration of the trip).
We will gladly return to this hotel again. Thanks for the hospitality!
The staff, although not Russian-speaking, understands at a glance. Upon check-in, they politely offered towels to wipe the face, hands after the road and a glass of homemade lemonade. Meals were taken by Al, but the hotel also works on HB. They fed great!! ! For breakfast, there is always freshly squeezed juice, fruits, several types of nuts, yoghurts, pancakes, pastries. Every day, in addition to meat dishes, fish and seafood.
I especially remember salmon in a creamy sauce and squid rings in batter. There are also dietary options. Once a week - an evening of Mexican cuisine (tacos, burritos, etc. ). Ice cream. Delicious wines. The bars make good coffee and cocktails.
Entertainment was also enough: yoga, darts, aqua aerobics, culinary master classes, wine tastings (by the way, you can buy wine from them), live instrumental music in the evenings. We lived in room 386, next to the reception, there are no complaints. Everything is new and modern. The hotel has a small beach, the coastline is narrow, but you can go to the right - there are more places. The sea was just beginning to warm up, so we decided to go on an excursion. They took the Lassithi program from Muzenidiz - the cave of Zeus. We liked it very much, enjoyed the mountain landscapes, heard myths and legends, got acquainted with local customs. Thanks for the good organization! In general, the holiday went with a bang!
We recommend both our hotel and the island of Crete itself.
Food - monotonous, austerity on everything, especially fruit and meat. BREAD DRY. Drinks - only juices like "just add water", milk - it's also better to bring your own (powdered and highly diluted). If you choose this hotel, then only due to its good location, I recommend the room - a junior suite with a private pool (don't forget to ask for a bathrobe and slippers, they just won't give it), to the beach - go to the right, because. in front of the hotel there is only a narrow strip of sand by the road. You won't look at the pool at the hotel without tears.
Nice kids disco in the evening.
The sea is magnificent - sandy, the water is perfectly clear. Rent a car - and you will discover unforgettable places that even the shortcomings of the hotel will not spoil your holiday.
Alexey, was in this hotel with his wife and 4-year-old child in July 2011.
The hotel is SUPER. The food is luxurious, the service is like in a fairy tale, the rooms are perfect, All inclusive is just a dream! Guest relations is Russian and many of the employees know Russian. The owner of the hotel was constantly in the hotel, rested and ate together with all the vacationers. The beach is excellent - even though the trestle beds are paid.
It was a great stay, I recommend this hotel to everyone. Price-quality ratio"!! ! I advise
Excursions for different tastes and prices. Questions - write. I wish you all good mood and rest.
Rooms are good and cleaned daily. The food is varied, tasty and high quality. Seafood, delicious cheeses, fruits, ice cream - always. Vacationers are mostly Europeans, mainly from Italy and Poland. And also France, England, Czech Republic, Slovakia, for obvious reasons, very few from Germany. Representatives of Russia and Ukraine became noticeably more this year.
Rested as a family with children, and many young people.
Now, as for pastime.
To the right of the hotel begins a street with shops, bars and taverns. I recommend going to a disco in Hersonissos, there are a lot of them, for example, New York, Camelot, Amnesia... Or Heraklion (it's 30 km from the hotel) to the largest and most fashionable nightclub - Big Fish.
I also recommend that you go to the center of Heraklion during the day - take a walk, see the port, the fortress and do shopping in stores of famous brands. But souvenirs are cheaper to buy in Stalis itself, and not in Heraklion. For example, a magnet in Stalis costs 0.5 euros, and in Heraklion the same one costs 1.5 euros. The same is true with olive oil. The same as I saw in Heraklion for 10 euros, in Stalis I took 6-7 euros... If you buy olive oil, do not take these beautiful glass souvenir bottles in souvenir shops, take them only in a supermarket in rectangular tins... this is quality and ease of transportation . Take the company "Sitia" or "Terra Creta", or consult with the seller, which brand and company is considered to be of high quality. Take more olives (see them not in jars, but in plastic sealed packaging), and cheese. Feta there is also packaged in such packages - convenient. Advice for women - do not forget about olive soap and other cosmetics based on olive oil
If you are not a fan of passive relaxation in a sun lounger or discos until the morning, I recommend renting a car, and it’s best for three days - it’s cheaper than 1 day, and believe me, you will get an unforgettable experience by driving around these amazingly beautiful coves, seeing these beaches with white sand, the sea of various shades - from pink to azure, and other island attractions. I recommend taking a car to Olympia Car, because everything is fair there with insurance, indeed, full hull insurance, without deceit and tricks. You can also order a car from a guide at the hotel, but it will be much more expensive, as, in fact, excursions. For example, an excursion to Heraklion organized by a guide with a visit to the Palace of Knossos costs 48 euros, and if you arrive in Heraklion on your own, you will go to the museum for 4 euros. Well, this has always been the case in any country, so I will not dwell on this, everyone determines for himself how convenient and profitable it is for him. Well, it seems, on the main issues, everything, if anything - ask. And if you go - say hello to the waitress Martina from Slovakia, and other guys, you will see - they will make your stay comfortable and unforgettable.
In the evening, when the sun sets, you can watch the night sea near the hotel, and if you walk towards Malia for just 5 minutes, you plunge into the world of taverns, boutiques, tents with souvenirs, food, etc.
The territory of the hotel is planted with a variety of plants and trees. If you add a good mood to all this, you can have a great vacation, which I sincerely wish everyone!
