There is a large balcony and a small private outdoor pool and sun loungers right outside the balcony.
When you check in, you will find letters in an envelope with greetings from the hotel management and wishes for a good rest. The same thing happens when you check out - letters where you are told "goodbye, come to us again. "
Upon arrival, a table with fruit, a tea set (tea, coffee, cream, biscuits), a bottle of wine and drinking water was waiting for us in the room. As well as a snack in the form of cheese, olives, cucumbers, tomatoes and toasters. Plus a carafe of local spirits.
The bathroom included, in fact, the bath itself, a shower, two washbasins (!! ), bathroom accessories. The bed was often decorated with fresh flowers.
What impressed me is that in the morning, while you are leaving for breakfast, the staff comes into the room and makes the bed for you, puts exactly the slippers. And in the evening he comes again and spreads out your bed for sleep, spreads a rug at your feet and puts slippers closer. And he folds your clothes on the bed into different bizarre shapes.
The hotel area is very large, well-groomed, with several buildings and a fountain. While walking, you can see multi-colored funny sculptures of animals. There are playgrounds with slides, tennis and basketball courts.
The beach is sandy, quite cozy, with grass, tents, sun loungers and towels. You can swim in the common huge pool with Greek columns. Or relax in the cafes and restaurants on site. In the evenings - shows with live music, games, entertainment for children and adults. There are also boutiques with clothes, cosmetics and accessories.
In the evening, thousands of lights are lit in the hotel, and you can take a walk or relax on soft white leather sofas and armchairs, conveniently placed around the perimeter of the territory and openly waiting for your guests.
Food at the hotel buffet is beyond praise in terms of choice. A variety of delicacies, red fish, caviar, cheeses, salads, fruits, champagne with ice! There is everything you want and for every taste.
It can be noted that the hotel fully and even more than corresponds to its 5 stars and is worth the money spent on it. The atmosphere is very conducive to rest and relaxation. Plus from everywhere breathes fashionableness and comfort. Great hotel!
The staff is friendly and welcoming, of course they don't speak Russian, but it doesn't matter, it's stupid to choose a hotel just for this. Everything corresponds to five stars, a lot of greenery and flowers, clean both inside and throughout the territory including the beach. Sunbeds with towels are always in abundance.
The food is very tasty, the variety is such that it was not possible to try everything in eight days. It is immediately noticeable that everything is created for comfort and relaxation: massage, spa and sauna with wonderful wizards, after all the procedures you are born again.
During the vacation, I was inspired to visit several ancient places, the most impressive was the Palace of Knossos.
We managed to feel all the advantages of our vacation thanks to the tour operator, to whom we turned for help in organizing the trip.
Subjectively, I'm just crazy about the hotel. Everything is fine here: a large beach, a beautiful entrance to the sea (as if under your feet there is a flat concrete slab covered with an even layer of sand - not a single random pebble). The room is cleaned twice a day. Restaurant food, and exclusive restaurant food: all kinds of shrimp, sushi fresh, etc. A saltwater pool that is drained, washed and refilled daily. All day children's programs. There are absolutely no Russians (for some reason, there are practically no Germans either - mostly British and French).
The only "but" is a rather modest (as in the scale of such a hotel) children's playground. The fact that there were no Russian-speaking animators was a plus to some extent, although it still complicated it a little - a four-year-old child cannot simply be left with caregivers, because they do not understand each other.
But in general, a very good impression, and if the playground were expanded, I would put all 10 stars, but I’ll take one off to leave where to develop further!
This view, the noise of the sea and air !!!! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! The hotel service is just great.
The waiters are not visible or audible, but they always have time to add wine, water, change a napkin, etc., , , , Never seen a maid, but the room is always cleaned and put to bed new flowers, and water, coffee, tea , cream and cosmetics in the bathroom replenished daily, even if we did not use, Very beautiful area, the philosophy of Interber as they say Amirandese - water, stone, wood, beach - stunning! Sand! The hotel has 5 à la carte restaurants, dinner in the main restaurant can be exchanged for dinner in any restaurant, we really liked the Cretan restaurant! Attention to guests, even in small things at the highest level, Our neighbors rested with children, children were very happy! Recommended for everyone! ! ! ! !
The food at the hotel is excellent. For breakfast there is bacon, 3 types of fresh juices, well, in general, a lot of everything, everything is tasty and fresh. Our tour package included only breakfast, lunch and dinner for an extra charge, however, lunch is organized for children, which is included in the tour price. We had dinner a couple of times at the hotel, it was delicious, but as for me, such a dinner does not cost 120 euros for 2 adults with a child. In the same Hersonissos, which is 7-10 minutes away by car, an excellent dinner on the embankment will cost a maximum of 50 euros, and there you will also be treated to fruits, wine, and ice cream for free. Near the hotel is a village called Gouves. You can go there by leaving the hotel beach (jumping on stones. There is another exit, but for some reason it is very often closed. In the village you can also have dinner, sit and relax. There is also a supermarket where you can buy drinks and water. At the entrance to Hersonissos there is Spar supermarket, where many Russian-speaking vacationers shop, where drinks, including alcohol, are much cheaper than in Gouves and much cheaper than in a hotel.
In general, there is only one disadvantage of otleya, although this is probably also its dignity - everything is quite expensive. Two glasses of Heineken beer cost 11 euros and a milkshake for a child 9 euros. It's delicious, of course, but still. Therefore, I put the hotel 9 and not 10. Otherwise, our family personally has no complaints.
