I have been to this hotel 2 times. the second time - after 3 years, the reef became much grayer ... although on the sandy stretch of the beach, where you can swim shallowly, many beautiful fish swim, and moray eels live. And this winter, I spent almost 3 months resting on my own (rented an apartment in a compound), and went to the beach of Faraana. frankly speaking, the reef was not impressed ... the only living area is if 100 meters, probably, sail away from the "house reef" towards the sea, there is a separate reef island, but tourist ships constantly go there, straight in flocks, and the "cap" of a lone tourist they may not notice during their maneuvers ... that's where the ships unload their tourists - there is something to see ... :-(

Completely agree with NellyK. There are a lot of fish, even near the shore, incl. stingrays and moray eels, the reef is dying, gray, but you can find interesting areas if you swim from that pontoon on the right, the entrance to the sea is sandy.

We were in March. We swam from the pontoon to the right, in the morning we often met eagles. It's just a fairy tale! in a restaurant on the beach, you don’t need to sign up, it’s very convenient and the sea views are super! It’s worth visiting the hotel!

Yes, and given that my wife is not a great specialist in snorkeling and I have to adapt to her. Alex45, Sentido Reef Oasis 5* (just don't confuse the name - there are a lot of reef oases and they are different) - in the same bay, but to the left. there the wife will be able to snorkel, and you will dive).
Dreams Beach Resort 5 * in Tower Bay - you can swim to the left for almost a kilometer, stop along the way - relax on the pontoons of other hotels.

Of course, the reef is common, but the left side of the reef (from Sentido to Cape Phanara) will be better - there the fish just stand as a wall ;-) it happens ... and the hotel is different, look, live .. And the reef on the wild beach, to the right of Faraana, really better, because there are few tourists there, rarely anyone swims ... ;-) But this winter I specially went not to the hotel, but to the compound (a month of stay at the price of a week in a hotel), and went to different beaches, often visited the wild , and from there sailed towards Ras-Um-Sid.
As for the bays, there is also a bay in Dreams, and I was in Tirana in early-mid February, there was never a red flag, we swam every day.

Yes, rooms from 900 are a barn. You can pay for relocation. You can make a fuss, LOUD!!! They will relocate.

Not a bad hotel, big enough but very worn, the most luxurious sea and beach in it. Nowhere else in Sharm El Sheikh at 4 you will find such a beach. In the pool, there was never a desire to plunge. The food is terrible but you won't die of hunger. For lunch there is always a grill Fish or meat , chicken . Animation is missing. But next to one of the most picturesque places of Sharm El Sheikh, Farsha Cafe, I highly recommend this to everyone, something extraordinary. Of course, after 5, a lot hurts the eye Despite the many errors and poverty of this hotel, the rest was still unforgettable, and literally on the third day you don’t even notice any little things like plastic cups and water from the cooler, dust under the bed, and the lack of cosmetics in soul. The sea and the beach save this hotel and the staff is very friendly!
