The hotel is a solid 4. Pros - excellent food, beautiful grounds, everything is quite comfortable. Who said that you have to give 20 bucks when you check in? Some kind of nonsense, we were settled at 10 in the morning without money, they immediately gave bracelets, they gave us a standard room, and it turned out later that our 1st floor is much better than the 2nd, where the view is better. I really liked the service - luggage delivery to the room upon arrival and to the reception upon departure. Most importantly, it's free.
Cons - yes, the staff is really somewhat impudent, especially in relation to girls, they allow themselves too much, but if you don’t pay attention to them and smile sweetly in response, then on the 3rd day you simply don’t notice anything. But the terrible managers are quite adequate - they will come up themselves, they will ask if everything is fine. Yes, something may not work in the rooms - TV remote control, safe, refrigerator - but this is all solvable. Towels are brought at 4 pm and not earlier, but this is not a problem of the servants, but rather a laundry. We were cleaned by a cute boy, they did without swans, they left money, but not every day. It is not very convenient that the reception is at one end of the hotel, and the restaurant and our building (2) are at the other. A new reception is being built in the middle, it will probably be ready in six months. A joke about the 1st and 2nd floors - on December 29 in Sharm it went dol, not a downpour, but rain. There is no roof on the balconies of the 2nd floor and there is no drain, so all the water from the balcony went to the rooms, and from there to the corridors, along the stairs to the 1st floor. We were lucky - it was dry for us, but the 2nd floor was not lucky - they chose water from the rooms with carpets and towels for half the night. Why is it so difficult to make a hole in the balcony and insert a 10 cm tube so that the water drains? Who builds like this? But this is such a common local joke, you need to understand - not only in this hotel there was a flood. But in general - I liked the hotel, all comments are more about the general attitude towards tourists in Egypt than this particular hotel. if you like to find fault, you will definitely find something, and if you like to relax, be sure to rest : -)
