Rested from 9 to 18 December. It's hard for me to judge whether this is a good hotel or not - it was the first time in Egypt. But to be honest, I didn’t like the hotel - sorry for the expression, some kind of shabby, the territory seems to be green, but in December everything looks untidy, there are a lot of yellow, dry, peeled plants. For me, fewer plantings are better, but a more organized, harmonious space. And here is the "Babai" style - there is a lot of everything and magnificently, but stupidly. But a lot of people like it - we've seen rave reviews.
No luck with the room - right opposite the animation, and they gave $ 25 upon check-in and asked to be quieter. Then they simply did not want to bother with the resettlement. The room is generally shabby, furniture, curtains, linen, plumbing, decoration - three with a minus. Wretched. Food - well, they didn’t remain hungry, but they quickly got tired of their food, in the end a piece didn’t climb into the throat. More or less only when they cooked fish, poultry, including quails on fire. There seemed to be very few fruits, I always wanted them, and you still have to go in a separate queue for them. They gave oranges, sometimes grapefruits, inedible persimmons. There were oranges, apples, sometimes bananas and guava on the beach.
Drinks - everything that they write, it was so. You can choose something to taste, but they don’t give wine in bars and on the beach - only in a restaurant. There is only one restaurant, others are a la carte, but they have the same food, they just serve you. Who was, no one really liked it, we did not go.

The attitude of the staff is quite tolerable, but upon check-in, the Arab servants at the reception seemed rather pompous and unfriendly. The staff and I were friendly and evenly kept, and in principle we had a normal attitude. There was a good waiter Amyr or Amir in the restaurant, they fed the boy a couple of dollars, he was glad to try, but in the end he tired us with the fuss around us - we already wanted peace. A good guy cleaned our place, made different animals and hearts, even a gorgeous crocodile, of course, they left dollars. And so everyone is mostly hard-working, it is a sin to offend or be offended by them.
But in general, the Arabs, who are around the hotel and in different shops, got terribly. But this is not news to anyone. Nasty salesman Sasha in a shop near the restaurant - young, but already extremely hypocritical and deceitful, strives to pretend to be a "friend", and he only thinks how to fool. However, they are all like that. But the glorious Zhorzhik in the nearby beach goods store, so fat, good-natured. Say hello to him from Elena, whom he gave a yellow scarf. ))))
Pools - one seemed to be heated, but we did not swim in it - went to the beach. They allow only 10 meters from the shore, you can wet your feet and lie on your belly, slouch. They whistle and drive people away from the reef. There was a red flag all the time, despite the fact that it should be black. One day they were allowed to swim from the pontoon - there were those who wanted to. But we immediately realized that in such storms and winds as we had all the time, we would not dare to dive from the pontoon. Therefore, we were forced to take an excursion from Pegasus on a yacht for the whole day to Dahab, we swam there with a mask, but it was really scary - the Arabs, who say that there are no dangerous sharks, cannot be trusted. Most of us were unlucky with the weather - we were freezing wildly, we even put on warm jackets and boots.
That's it in a nutshell. The rest was quite stressful, there were many minuses, but in general we tried to brighten up our rest ourselves, but this is more at the expense of additional funds for excursions to the Colored Canyon and the Church of St. Catherine and on a yacht in Dahab. And if we were satisfied in principle, it is largely due to our sociability and acquaintance with interesting people.
