My long and first journey began in Krasnodar on April 26th. We ourselves are from Rostov-on-Don, but so far we bought a tour - then all the plane tickets were sold out on the date we needed. So we had to deviate a little from the route. The airport in Krasnodar, to put it mildly, is not “ice”, almost service dogs were involved in the inspection! We arrived in Sharm el-Sheikh in the morning at about eight o'clock, quickly went through passport control, got our little things and, without passing the “dutik”, went to meet the sun and the sea! The hotel is located 4 km from the airport, we arrived quickly, but there was a hitch with the accommodation in the rooms - they didn’t take money at the reception and said to wait 12 hours, wrapped us up and sent us to a restaurant. As a result, we got the number 6236, the building is located not far from the barrier!! ! It’s far from the sea, but there is a bus, and we didn’t spend much time in it - we only spent the night, so we didn’t change it. By the way, apart from the location, there are no complaints about the room - the building is new, the renovation is fresh, the furniture is good, there is plasma on the wall, serviceable plumbing, central air conditioning, and it’s quiet around.
A few words about the territory. Everything is in flowers and lawns, cleanliness and order. At the request of the hotel they have 12 restaurants and bars. Well, I don’t know, I didn’t count them, but we visited several - the main restaurant in the main building, near the Feshion pool, there is a Chinese and Indian ala cart, fish for money, Italian near the beach, another one near the pool (but it was closed ), as well as on each beach there is a bar and by the pool. The food is normal, not to say varied, but everyone will note something for themselves, especially I liked their pastries. Well, I will not describe the dishes served and other crap, a lot has already been written about this.
As for the beaches, there are three of them - sandy, a floating pontoon and a submerged pontoon, we were more often on the third. We always had enough sun loungers and towels. Although we came to the beach at half past eleven. The sea is just amazing - a big aquarium! Fish swim under your feet and you can dive from the pontoon with a mask, there is a rather picturesque coral reef, even dolphins swam by! Somehow I didn’t have to meet animation, but somewhere on the sandy beach they could be heard.

The local people, in principle, are friendly and sociable, they love Russians very much, we constantly treated them to our sweets and nuts - there was no limit to their happiness)) They did not skimp on tips - they gave both the cleaner in the room and the bartender on the beach, sometimes in a restaurant. On the beach, we met with sellers of excursions, even traveled around the country with them - we were in Cairo and on the pyramids, went on motorcycle safari and scuba diving. Of course, not everything went smoothly! We left for Cairo at night, and waited an hour for the bus, and on the way back we drove past the hotel at all - or rather, our Russian-speaking guide got off on the way, and local drivers shouted out the names of the hotels. As it turned out, our hotel used to be a “pyramid”, and when we heard this name, we didn’t react in any way (or rather, we even mocked those who fell asleep or went out in the wrong place and passed their hotel, well, or didn’t get there! ))) but in vain - at the end of the journey, the drivers were quite surprised by the presence of the remaining tourists on the bus))) It was VERY hot in Cairo, you can safely ride in shorts, just take sneakers with you and arafatka, there was wind and sand on the pyramids and HEAT! In the Cairo Museum, we were very quickly taken through the main halls and given half an hour of free time, of which 20 minutes we were looking for a way out)) Then they forced us to ride along the Nile (for an additional fee), saying that the bus would take a very long time due to traffic jams and we would be late for lunch to the restaurant, in the end he arrived before us! Cunning Arabs! Cairo cost us $50. On the motorcycle safari, we ate plenty of local sand and dust and perfectly smashed our cellulite on the ass... )) about speed and adrenaline is out of the question, because. the instructor did not allow to accelerate, and their “hook” does not pull our two Russians well... )) Safari is nothing special - 40 minutes on the way one way, a strange drink in a Bedouin hut, a couple of photos, a visit to a local shop that is desirable (for them) miracles and all - on the way back! Dirty but happy for 40 bucks for two, we visited the locals. And finally, diving - $ 145 for two - it's expensive for what we were offered! I'll explain why. We were promised two dives of 35 and 45 minutes, one snorkeling session, an individual suit for each, two meals aboard the yacht. But in reality it was the following: diving twice for 10 minutes, two suits and equipment for the whole group (10 people) and those after a shark attack, one meager lunch and later oranges. But there are no complaints about the yacht - it was clean, freshly painted and comfortable. But despite all these troubles, I, like an elephant, remained satisfied, because. I am a calm person and not capricious))
We went to Naama Bay and the Old Town by taxi, which stands outside the hotel - the cost is from $ 10 round trip, 10 minutes drive. I liked it more in the Old Town, and they sell better there, the main thing is not to go into the shops on the first row, but go a little further - there the seller is not spoiled. The Arabs bargain well, if there is a mood, you can joke with them in a good way, bargain, and if not, then you just turn around and leave - a good price is guaranteed! Although one vile Arab (I didn’t like him right away! ) deceived us - they were going to buy three large papyri for $ 10, but he wrapped only two for us, and not by chance! What we found already in the room. So take a closer look - watch what you wrap. What can you buy in Egypt, or rather, what a good product: I bought hibiscus, scarves, leather bags, a hookah (you just need to take a heavy one with strong copper pipes and blow it on the spot), spices, lamb skin, and also bought fruits ( melons, mangoes, guava Strawberries and dates do not tolerate transportation well - it is better not to take them) and all sorts of souvenirs.
We rested for ten days. There are many Italians in the hotel, the Russians arrived by May 1, the Arabs all went lamenting - why are there so few Russians ? ! I noticed that our people, in principle, behave decently, but because of some drunken idiot who arranged a concert on demand, they think that all Russian pigs! It's a shame! In principle, everything went well for the first time, we were satisfied with the rest, the hotel and the country!
