So we went to Egypt. We went there, despite the not very positive reviews of all the friends who returned from this country, but I really wanted to see the Red Sea and its inhabitants. We definitely chose Sharm, the hotel was advised to us by a travel agent, she said that she had a rest there, and she really liked it. After browsing the Internet for information about Pyramiza and seeing a lot of negative reviews with photos of cockroaches in the rooms, we decided to book another hotel, but the travel agent convinced us that this was a very good hotel.
We flew to Egypt with Pegasus, a ticket for two weeks cost 82.000 rubles. We didn’t like the hotel at all and so much that we don’t want to go to Egypt anymore.
1. Settlement. We settled in a room with a sea view, the first line from the beach (opposite beach number 2). The number does not pull on five stars absolutely, in Southeast Asia the three-ruble note looks much better. Old furniture, dirty mirrors in the bathroom, loud purring refrigerator. There are no slippers, no bathrobes in the room, no tea set. The bed is changed once a week, every day they simply remake the old one. Most of all, I was afraid to see cockroaches in the room, and I saw them - 10-centimeter cockroaches came to us twice, after which I could not calmly stay in the room, because I was terribly afraid of them.

2. We liked the food, delicious pastries, very well cooked fish, good meat, lots of vegetables. There were very few fruits - apples, grapes, pears, guava. Oyat same terrible service in the dining room (language does not turn to call it restaurants). By the beginning of lunch and dinner, a huge queue forms in the three main restaurants, you have to stand and wait for a table to be free, only then will you be allowed inside. Standing in line for half an hour, you feel quite humiliating, and when you finally sit down at a table, you feel uncomfortable from the looks of the starving people standing in line. Every time we saw tarragon in restaurants, once even running near the sausage, we also saw a mouse. It is better not to look closely at the dishes, as they are far from clean.
3. Sea. We were at the Red Sea for the first time, so the underwater world seemed very rich to us, my husband went diving to Tiran Island, and said that fish on our beach are much more beautiful than there. There are three beaches - one is sandy, very narrow, next to the marina of boats, it smells of diesel fuel, the other two are with pontoons. One pontoon is plastic, there are no stairs on it, so it will be problematic for people who are not athletic to climb it on their own. The second pontoon is concrete, also very uncomfortable. There were always enough beds.
4. Animation. There were only 10 animators at the huge hotel, the guys tried, but it was boring. There is nothing to do in the hotel in the evenings. The amphitheater showed primitive shows, mainly designed for children. Disco XL is a dead dance floor, although if you want to dance, you can break away in four.
5. The hotel area is beautiful, green and very large. Every day, to get to the restaurant, we had to go through 117 steps (it's hard to wake up in the morning). A fox ran along the beach in the evenings, a lot of cats.
Communicating with people who were in Egypt several times, they concluded that such a garbage dump should still be looked for. The guide with whom we went to Cairo said that he himself stayed at this hotel and on the second day refused to live there. In general, I want to say, before the trip, read the reviews about this hotel, think very carefully, this is not five stars, but two and a half. Of all the hotels where I rested, I have not seen anything worse.
