Just got back from Sharm. at our hotel the beach was next to the public beach (and next to the beach with an elevator). everything is open for swimming there .... in this bay, as I understand it (I'm not sure of course), there is a net. so everyone is swimming. but the corals are poor (by the standards of Egypt). although on the coral of the neighboring CHARM NETWORK we saw lionfish, rays, and balloons, not to mention butterflies, picassos, zebras and other small fish.
