The plaza hotel is newer than the garden reef. the interior and design are more modern. But there are more problems with the beach in the plaza. there are more and more places in the reef-beach. in general.and in the garden hotel is located in tiers.it is better to take 1,2,3.we lived in 5.there were no problems.go 3 minutes to the beach and 1 minute to the upper pool and dining room.

We rested in the Continental Garden Reef in November 2008. We also lived in building 5 (Russians and Ukrainians are mostly accommodated there) Our room was on the 2nd floor. It overlooks the upper pool, not bad. As a 2-year-old granddaughter, therefore, sometimes we went to the beach in the continental plaza, no problem. These hotels are related, we walked on both. But in my opinion, the Garden is cooler.

We rested at the end of March in Continental Garden Reef, went to see Continental Plaza Beach - I liked the second one more:
1. A pontoon with handrails (unlike our hotel) and there is a ladder from the pontoon into the sea (in our floating pontoon you had to manage to jump in at the exit, but can you do it?)
2. The sea - the reef is beautiful, if you wish, you can swim from the Plaza to the extreme pontoon of the Continental ..
3. Animation on the beach is better in the Plaza - we went there with a child (by the way, also 8 years old).
4. And the water slides at the Plaza are also a plus.
5. I don’t know about food in the Plaza, but the fact that in the Continental is “not very” is for sure.

tashia, maybe you are confusing something, but the pontoon (main) in the Garden is also with handrails. At least it was 1.5 years ago Or were they torn off? :)) And no one uses the sunken pontoon. I'm for Garden!

What was "restored" - without handrails and without stairs (this was the case on the day of our departure on April 3, 2010!) There are photographs. It's just a statement of fact. And the concrete pontoon only floods at high tide, so it's not "sunken" ..
