And needles, and groupers, and lionfish, and dragon fish, and moray eels, and tuna. The spectacle is amazing. There is nothing to go there without a snorkel mask and fins. Everyone with masks, even three-year-olds. I opened the beautiful underwater world to my child. Incredible emotions. Pleasure boats from all over Sharm al-Sheikh went to our reef. We were in this hotel only a day, our flight was delayed, and the entire plane was moved here from different hotels, where we all rested for a week. Definitely will not recommend! This hotel cannot be perceived as 5 stars at all now - a maximum of three stars. All the vacationers with whom I spoke there are in complete shock that they got there. And yet, Annexes, Join-up and probably other operators, as well as numerous agents, continue to sell this hotel and recommend it for families. Since there are few visitors, the hotel closed the entire infrastructure. Of more than 400 rooms, about 50 are occupied. The condition of the entire territory is such that you can shoot post-apocalyptic films. The impression that people left the hotel on the run and in one day. Cleaning of the territory is not carried out, there is garbage everywhere - bags, plastic and paper cups, broken beer bottles and dishes. Elevators are dirty, glass is everywhere dirty, muddy. The beach is not cleaned, the garbage is not taken out even from the garbage cans, ashtrays, not to mention the gobies from the sand. The food is monotonous, in the best traditions of public catering - what was not eaten yesterday was processed for today and even tomorrow. Many dishes were frankly sour. Therefore, in order to avoid poisoning, I had to eat very limitedly - rice and cucumbers, potatoes and cucumbers, bread and cucumbers. In the morning - fried eggs and tea with toast. Butter appeared only on the 8th day of our stay there. No juices, just this powdered Yuppie. No natural coffee - only instant, no good tea - only Lipton bags. Huge cockroaches lived and ran in the bathroom. The request for relocation (even for a surcharge) was ignored by the administrator, under the pretext that all rooms are occupied. On the 4th day, the electrician broke down (all sockets) - until the end of the stay, the electrician was never sent, each time I had to look for where to charge the phone. Of the pluses - the air conditioner worked well, water was brought to the room regularly, comfortable beds. I chose this particular hotel and those offered by the travel agent precisely because they promised a good infrastructure for the child. There was nothing promised, for example, a kids club or animation, which I was counting on so much. The water park worked only an hour a day, in the heat of the day, when only sitting in a room under the air conditioner. Internet is very expensive, $5 for half an hour, or $25 per day. Bars on the beach, and ALL restaurants are closed, you can’t talk about any All inclusive. Of course, you can’t buy anything on the territory, the shops are also closed and thrown right with the goods inside. You just need to go to the city, which is not always convenient. Great greenery. And there are no words about the sea. The reef is fabulous. What kind of Hurghada is there (we were there) and the water is warmer. We swam for 30-40 minutes without getting out, and this was in early March. Many thanks to the travel agency "Jules Verne" (Zaporozhye) that persuaded me to go. We are very pleased with the trip. Of course, it may be boring for young people, but here, I think, you need to choose what is more important for you - to break away or relax. And a little tip - do not forget - there are mosquitoes : )

As for the dissatisfied mime at the bars, I agree here, so I didn’t spoil my mood for 1 dollar solved the problem until the end of the vacation.
The food is typical for Egypt.
The biggest plus of this hotel is the RIF, I like to snorkel a lot, fish almost human size is impressive, I'm not talking about turtles, stingrays, thousands of other beautiful fish.
For me, there is only one conclusion, the hotel is good, the service is normal, the reef is super. I recommend!! !

This time the trip was given to us by my son, thank you very much. We, having read reviews of the Continental Garden Reef hotel on the Internet, were very upset. More me than my husband. Since there were a lot of complaints about the hotel. But they didn’t want to upset their son, so they didn’t change the hotel.
But, of course, we were prepared for the worst. And so, starting from the very first day of our stay in this hotel, we were greeted by unexpected amenities.
We settled in a nice room, which is located at about the same distance from the beach and the restaurant. Room on the first floor with a wonderful view of the beautiful flowers and the pool. They didn’t pay anything extra for this, no one asked for money, they talked to us respectfully. When the ants promised by the reviews came to us, help from the hotel workers came immediately after our call to the reception. At their request, we left the room, and when we returned, we did not find a single ant, even a dead one. The smell of some kind of poison for them still remained for a while. But the reaction of the employees and their work impressed.
Yes, the furniture in the room is not new, but everything works, clean towels and bed linen, although not new either, so it’s better to say about them that they are beige, not white.
We cleaned well, so we did not regret the tip. We also asked not to mold us all sorts of things from towels, because. it’s not very pleasant when the cleaner washes the floor, takes out the trash, and then slams the towels with the same hands.
The food at the hotel was also quite satisfying. Breakfasts are standard for Egypt: sausage (not very good), sausages, various cheeses, toast, delicious bread of various types, scrambled eggs, yogurts, quite tasty porridge, various vegetables, lots of pastries, tea and coffee, fruits. Lunches and dinners have always been chicken and meat (which is baked - very tasty). The husband said that the meat was lamb. It’s hard for me to believe, because in other hotels I didn’t like lamb at all, but here it was very tasty. There is a wide variety of side dishes, as well as salads. Fruit is not enough, but you can put up with it. The choice was good, we took the dishes again in 3-4 days. Juices are bad, which is typical for Egypt - from powders. Carbonated water, instant coffee, tea, quite decent wine and beer. Haven't tried hard alcohol. Already taught that he is terrible in this country.
Other restaurants, except the main one, did not visit. Here they did not understand who and when to sign up. But they were not particularly upset, because they did not come to overeat.
We can’t say anything specific about the animation, we didn’t use it. It was important for us to go to Israel, a trip to which did not take place on our last visit due to the fact that my husband was sunbathing in the sun. Burnt very badly. This time we took a cream with a very high protection, and in the hottest time we rested in the room. Therefore, it was possible to go to Israel. We booked a trip via the Internet from home. It is very convenient when you need to pay for the tour when you board the bus. Last year, the trip was very easily canceled due to the husband's ailments, no claims were heard from the Red Sea Travel staff about this. In general, the tour was well organized. Yes, it’s difficult, there are a lot of places to see, so there was some rush. But in general, the feeling was very good.
What else about the hotel. Very beautiful area, with lots of palm trees and flowers. Everything is very beautiful, and no less clean. It's great that you can also use the territory of the neighboring hotel - Continental Plaza. The most interesting thing there is a mini-aqua park.
Well, in the end, about the fattest plus of the hotel is the reef, thanks to which I really want to return to this hotel again. There are a lot of fish, you can see them even from the pontoon. And at the reef we saw stingrays, moray eels, and turtles. The water holds very well, so it is not difficult to swim with a mask. Not even swimming, but just hanging over the reef and watching its underwater life. It's like you're immersed in some other world. Very impressive.

How can you overcook chicken every day?? ) By the way, in order to taste it, both at lunch and dinner you will have to stand in line in front of the entrance to the restaurant, there weren’t enough places for everyone. There was also an oriental restaurant, everything is very tasty there! But it was booked for the entire period by the Arabs, so there were never any places. Of the snacks, there was pizza and french fries at the beach bar, but if you don’t like to push the queue and pile potatoes with your hands so that they fall out of the plate, then you just won’t have enough of it. In the bars on the beach everything is WARM! Of course, there is almost never ice. Beer on the beach in one of the bars, but there is no entry into the sea. Beer was poured into plastic disposable 150 gram cups, and after 14-00 it was magically finished in all bars. The hotel has two swimming pools. One "Arab", there hung the Arabs and their female divers. There has never been a free place for Russians, but in general, like the desire to relax there. The second pool - I liked it better, and the shape, and the fact that it was calm, and there were no screaming Arab kids, but here's the ambush - there is no beer in the bar. And a refrigerator. They called the bar a water cooler and three bottles of hot cola! There is no animation in principle. All sportsmen-animators barely walked, apparently at least they are well poured there. They have no desire and task to entertain the people, they just sit out in the crisis in Ukraine. They themselves wanted to stir up a bocha, because they do not have enough balls, volleyball was also played 2 times a week... Well, now the most important thing is the sea! Of course it is very beautiful. But here's the trouble - there is no pontoon! ) More precisely, it is, but this is a real attraction. First you need to walk on very slippery concrete slabs knee-deep in water, and then after 20 meters climb onto a plastic pontoon, some of the slabs of which are not fastened together. When a husband weighing 100 kg climbed out of the sea on the stairs, people who were sitting on it almost fell off the pontoon)....The room is large, the balcony is also huge, with sofas, the view is gorgeous. We did not expect any premium class from the budget five, but banal conditions for relaxation are simply necessary. Dirt everywhere, stained glass, By the way, I didn’t read this in the reviews, I don’t understand, real vacationers don’t write them? Or do they want to quickly forget such a vacation? I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Of course, not free, but it's better to pay a dollar than spoil your mood and create problems. The only time we checked in was that the porter brazenly demanded $10, but we "put him in his place".
