This time we were pleasantly surprised. The same order, well-groomed territory, excellent cleaning of rooms. Upon arrival, they clarified that the building in which we will live is located directly by the pool with the main daytime entertainment (this is building number 7) and how we feel about this. Children are no longer small, we did not mind, especially since we ourselves were directly involved in these entertainments. On the territory there is a swimming pool for adults, with a bar in the water, and a water park, the kids went there, followed them, and we rested by the pool. Plus, there is a kids club on the territory, children from kindergarten age can go there, the program always hangs, what they will do, there are just babysitting services. I spoke about nutrition, but I repeat that, taking into account the taste preferences of our children, which not everyone will eat, there were no problems. Either the climate, or the air affects it this way, or the products are different, we did not remain hungry. About the beach. It is relatively far away, you need to get there in two stages, first through the jungle on a trailer, and then 2 minutes on foot, choosing a place that is more convenient. While walking through the territory of Royalton, we compared, of course, there are also gorgeous pools and a beautiful fountain, but our hotel is somehow more familiar and sincere. . The beach is private, clean, only for guests of two hotels. There are noticeably more plants, 7 years ago it was more deserted. The water is crystal clear, from my point of view, a very successful beach, even in comparison with the rest of the beaches of Punta Cana. I almost forgot to mention, if you want to see the most beautiful beaches of the Dominican Republic, then there are whole excursion tours offered by numerous agencies - Macau, Saona, Bacardi beach and distant ones, such as a trip to the Samana Peninsula. We went to Bacardi beach and Saona with a guide Dimon, who works for 2 Bananas - they are maximally adapted for Russians, they have a very good selection of excursions. In the evenings, it didn’t make sense to go somewhere outside the hotel, because the theater always held a varied evening program, most of all, of course, I remember the popular Michael Jackson Show (this is generally a favorite show in the Dominican Republic, as I understand it) and the performance of circus artists, we were excited. So it's nice to return to a familiar place for new experiences.

Since I was traveling with a 4-year-old daughter (and this is the age when the child is no longer breastfeeding, but is not yet sufficiently conscious and cannot permanently sit still for a long time), the transfer option turned out to be the most acceptable for us. Seniors should also consider this option. The hotel is excellent: everything is clean, new, well maintained. Yes, this is the second line from the beach, but for the convenience of the guests, everything has been done - easement for the passage through the Royalton (hotel on the coastline), and a convenient transfer to it. You can, of course, and on foot, but the heat is far away. There are no problems. I can say that even the remoteness of the beach did not spoil the impression, there is an amazing water park for small and large children, several swimming pools for adults and children, a jacuzzi, a garden, a cafe where you can have a snack, eat ice cream during the day, and a kids club. That is a separate country of entertainment within one hotel. The rooms are spacious enough to accommodate the whole family. The only thing is that buildings 6-8, in my opinion, are located in a loud area (next to the main pool), respectively, with babies it will not be very comfortable there during the day if daytime sleep is supposed. Otherwise, all cases are visually on the same level, there are no strong differences. . . except in the room category. The food in the main restaurant is a godsend for the little ones, because it is very varied and with an original, appetizing presentation. The waiters are very friendly, especially to children, and they are happy to entertain young guests and treat them with goodies. It is very nice. On request and without an appointment, you can visit additional restaurants, the most chic is French, if you are going to dine in it, come a little earlier, because after 8.30 there is a queue. They serve chic lobsters and very decent white wine. Another discovery of mine, which was the result of a chance acquaintance, is the Russians Masha and Maxim from the 2banana company, who have been organizing weddings and excursions for many years in the Dominican Republic. The whole family, with their son, periodically rest in various hotels, and we became friends with them, agreeing that we chose a wonderful place to stay!
