Our tourists are not housed in the buildings in the picture (they are for locals on weekends, there are apartments). Rooms without balconies, have a dryer, fan, safe, iron, ironing board, coffee maker, minibar (water, Pepsi, cola, beer - refilled), TV, cosmetics, 2 beds + sofa. Towels were changed daily, cleaned twice in 7 days.

Alcoholic cocktails at the bar. The beach - a lot of algae, muddy water. Chaise lounges are comfortable + table.

The beautiful buildings in the photo are only for the locals, all of ours are accommodated in a building without balconies overlooking the construction site (the car was constantly hammering under the window, hitting some kind of well), the design of the rooms is a dull gray-green shit... clearly, this one itself The building stands separately and resembles a hostel.

We were greeted with refreshing drinks and towels, settled promptly, the room was on the floor above the reception, there was no balcony. The mini door opening card is on the hotel wristband, very practical. Instead of DND signs, Clean up is a touch panel next to the door controlled from the room. There is a call. The room itself is large enough, there is a ceiling fan and air conditioning, the bed does not blow. There were no bathrobes or slippers. There are no complaints about the rest of the room: relatively new and everything is working. The bedside lamps have a USB connector for charging devices and a power outlet. Mosquitoes fly around the room and the corridor, there are a noticeable number of them, the fumigator will not be superfluous.
There is practically no soundproofing, so if you are a light sleeper and are used to going to bed early, I recommend earplugs: the doors to the rooms close with a noticeable knock.
It feels like the hotel was loaded by a maximum of 10% on our arrival, and with such occupancy, the rest in it is simply wonderful: quiet calm music, no noise, sunbeds are free even by the pool, even on the beach, there is no flea market in restaurants and bars, complete relaxation . But there is a tradition in the Dominican Republic: for the weekend, the local population comes to hotels with large families and the situation immediately changes: it becomes crowded, noisy, cramped and uncomfortable. This is especially noticeable for a hotel that cannot boast of a large area. These days I would recommend taking excursions.

In general, the service at the hotel is a solid 5-ku, everyone is very friendly, attentive, prompt response to requests. Knowing Spanish further increases the chance of getting an adequate result when communicating with staff.
The territory is the main building (through the 3rd floor you can get to the SPA and fitness room) with the main restaurant and about a dozen villas along the pool.
The hotel is located on the 1st line of Plaja Cabeza de Toro, the beach strip is wide, on the right and left there are several neighboring hotels (Serenade, Catalonia), and further along the coast there are just sand and palm trees.
Those who come to soak up the warm azure ocean may be disappointed: the water will not impress with beautiful shades, it is unclear and algae swim everywhere in it, there are also a lot of them at the bottom, and the temperature (in February) is + 22-23. There are practically no waves. The coast is regularly cleaned from algae, yes, but, of course, not water. A certain discomfort is also created by a very strong cold wind, especially near the coastline. Boat parking right in front of the hotel beach. It doesn't smell like gasoline though. Nearby is a dolphinarium, a local attraction and an excursion area.
The weather in the Dominican Republic changes all the time: the sun, cloudiness, clouds, light rain and again the sun during the day can change several times in a circle, only the wind is always there. The air temperature is very comfortable, a pleasant ocean breeze, hiding in an air-conditioned room during the day does not pull at all.
Only after sunset (around 19:00) may you need something to throw on from the wind.
Total: an excellent hotel for a quiet meditative rest and complete relaxation. Hurry up to visit while it's barely full.
