All a la carte restaurants are closed! The food in the main restaurants is just awful! There is nothing! Even in Turkish 4-ke the food will be better than here! There are no snack bars, only the main restaurant. If you skipped breakfast, lunch or dinner, you will be left hungry, although after visiting this restaurant you will most likely be left hungry too!
There is no service on the beach, no bar, no shower, no toilet, nothing but sun loungers and rubbish! Beach towels are more like floorcloths: stained, torn and tattered. The pools are dirty, with a lot of sand, garbage, disposable gloves, no one cleans them. The staff is not interested in your comfortable stay. You need to call 3-4 times and ask to clean the room or bring water, because. mini-bar even when cleaning is not replenished with at least water!! ! Guest-manager Violetta, who should help you with all issues, solves absolutely ZERO issues. At times it seemed to us that she was “under something”, by the way, we were not the only ones who noticed this! From her, we received more negativity than help, it would be better if she did not exist at all.
And this is only a small part of what you will encounter in this hotel. And if you still want to visit the Dominican Republic, then I recommend choosing the Barcelo hotel, even during the pandemic they keep the bar at a fairly high level.
