Although there is something to compare. I highly recommend for complete relaxation and turning off the brain. The island is fantastic. The service at the hotel is great. The food is beyond praise. We went to the main restaurant. A couple of times we got out into additional ones, but returned to our own. Every day a different cuisine. Champagne in the morning. . .
The staff is friendly and attentive. Leave a tip in the room or not - clean the same way. Nobody speaks Russian. There are almost no Russians in the hotel - and this is a big plus. All the same, not all of our compatriots can painlessly endure free alcoholic drinks without restrictions. We went on a trip to Santo Domingo. Lily guide. We didn't notice how we got there and back. So it was interesting. The historic city is very beautiful. Small and cozy. We also went to the Caribbean. Catalinita. Bathed with starfish. Our guide was a Dominican with an Odessa education... Andreas. How we did not burst with laughter during the trip is not clear. We sunbathed and ate lobsters on a desert island. Entertainment at the hotel around the clock. Animators are top notch. Dancing every night until you drop. Two theatres. In general, it's been 10 days since the trip, and every day I dream about this magical island and really want to go back... Go, you won't regret it. We chose this hotel on the recommendation and never regretted it, but remembered this person with a kind word throughout the rest. The territory is huge, 3 hotels are united together and a train rides - delivers tourists for free. 14 restaurants, you can eat in any, we didn’t have time to get around everything in 12 days.

I really liked the animation. There is a bus that takes tourists to and from the city for free. In the room itself, in addition to the shower, there is a jacuzzi. In short, I really want to go there again, but already to go there with feeling, really, and with arrangement.

Once we went on a train to Bavaro for an evening show, we didn’t want to do it anymore, we also sing beautifully, but we don’t need more. Separate conversation about cocktails. Besides beer, I don’t drink alcohol at all, but in the Dominican Republic I didn’t drink beer at all, cocktails are incomparable, low-alcohol (although my husband drank bloody Mary, mojito, cucaracha, etc. , they are stronger). The food is such that I had to arrange fasting days (straining all my willpower at the same time), since it is hard to refuse shrimp, mussels, fried meat and bacon (I am a meat eater). In the middle of the rest, I realized that I was happy (completely and unconditionally) there is such a feeling !!! ! The ocean is noisy like the sea, it's indescribable. The sand is white and does not get hot. The beaches are endless, without breakwaters. You can wind kilometers, at the same time both physical activity and tanning. But be careful. Without cream, even if you are tanned, I do not advise walking along the ocean, we still imperceptibly burned. I will not write about excursions, there are reviews about them on the Internet, decide for yourself. The room is normal, with jacuzzi, coffee maker, shower. The air conditioner was not turned on at all, it was not hot. Probably, now we will always take vacations in winter and spring, we want to go to Cuba, to other Caribbean islands. Don't be afraid to fly. I don’t carry planes very well, I didn’t even feel takeoff on a Boeing, I read all the way, slept. You can grab sandwiches with you, as the food is not very good, but you can always ask for coffee and a drink. After returning home, my husband was even depressed for a week, he couldn’t look at our dullness from the balcony, he remembered all the rest, it was the first time this happened to him, and our travel agent said that this often happens with tourists from the Dominican Republic. So go ahead, you won't regret it.
