were in May 2013 at the Majestic Hotel, I do not advise. But Barcelo Bavaro is very praised, we even wanted to stay there, but the hotel was in the foot and we had to go to Majestic ... Friends had a rest in Barcelo a year ago, they liked everything. Hard Rock is really the coolest hotel, but not cheap, and RIU chain hotels are still in good standing. just returned from Bavaro Beach, no kids, the beach is good (cleaned every day), they make almost any cocktails, they have a very extensive map and can do what you ask. You have to go to the disco, the casino in Bavaro Deluxe, all the restaurants of the entire complex can be used in the same way! The only thing in the Beach rooms is no jacuzzi
