What is the best way to get to Prague with a mandatory check-in to Krakow?
We are going to go to Prague for a week on our own, without a travel agency. But before that, we want to stop by for 1 day (possibly with an overnight stay) in Krakow. What is the best way to do this? We will not use the services of a travel agency, they offer bus tours, but they do not suit us. Air and railway tours in travel agencies are expensive. We want to use low-cost and we have ISIS, ITIC cards.
Tell me how and how you can get quickly and inexpensively from Krakow to Prague?

I think by train or bus.
from Krakow to Prague there is a daily night train, a little over 8 hours on the way.
at railway stations there will always be those who speak Russian (people who are over 40 almost all speak Russian more or less)

take a look at the site, maybe it will help you figure it out :)

We went from Krakow to Prague by train (trailer car) Odessa-Prague. It departs around 10 pm, half empty. But you can also find low-cost airlines like Wizzair. They offer flights from Krakow (Katowice).

and I went on a Krakow-Prague tour from Accord, 2 days of Krakow and a week of Prague. Satisfied with everything, a week was enough)

There are buses and, it seems, trains from Krakow to Prague! =)

Len OK! You write about the Accord tour. He was probably a bus? - WE DO NOT SUIT! (The daughter is very sick on the bus, unfortunately). We have already traveled with this operator to the Czech Republic, we were basically satisfied (if you don’t remember how my daughter suffered from motion sickness and headaches during the trip). But why do we again need the same excursion routes in the Czech Republic (Krakow does not count)? We want to arrive by plane or train to Krakow for a day, stay longer in Prague, maybe go to Karlovy Vary (last time we didn’t go there with a group). In general, we want to create our own route, its pace, time and duration. In any case, thank you for your reply!

One more clarification. We do not hide the fact that we want to organize an economical independent trip. Since Wizzair unfortunately does not fly to Prague, we are trying to find another low-cost airline, and this is only to Poland. And from there to Prague. And here is this piece of the route: I want to get from Krakow to Prague conveniently (in our case, absolutely not by bus!) And inexpensively. From other answers, I understood that there is a Polish night train from Krakow and an Odessa-Prague train (which you can get on at 10 pm in Krakow). Thanks for answers!

Hello. My husband and I are also going to Prague via Krakow (we want to use the low-cost). Tell me if you have found the best option on how to get to Prague. And if the trip has already taken place, then advise (from experience) where it is better to stay in Krakow and Prague and which tour agencies to use. Thanks!
