What about drugs when crossing borders
Is it possible to take with me, when traveling abroad, medicines (in particular, painkillers)? Do I need a prescription for a medicine, even if these pills are sold without a prescription in Ukraine? Thanks.

I crossed the border many times, and there was never a complete inspection of luggage. Medicines can be taken without problems, if not a whole suitcase.
Very often, on the contrary, I bring medicines from abroad, some of them are not sold here at all, they are not even certified, but the effect is amazing.

I always take a lot of medicines with me, both in my suitcase and in my hand luggage, including painkillers. In the Czech Republic there were no problems when crossing the border

It is better not to take more than 2 packs of one medicine. The Czechs don't care, but Ukrainian customs can pick it up - I've seen this at the airport more than once.

Thanks for answers.
I go by bus and take only a couple of pills, not even a package.
