If you stand with your back to the monument on Wenceslas Square, then on the left next to Raiffeisen Bank there is a fast food eatery on the first floor, and on the second floor there is a restaurant where beer is brought by trains by rail. It's very cool there! The waiter brings the food. But you need to book a table there in advance, we got there quite by accident and they let us in just to eat, although the table was already booked. We were prompted by a Russian-speaking guide girl near the monument. Be sure to go there, if not to celebrate, then at least eat. You will like beer and smoked ribs with garlic bread (white bread). You will not regret! Good luck to you!

I can only recommend to take a closer look at the hotel "Belvedere" 4 *, although in fact 3 *, (our son celebrated the New Year there, we stayed at this hotel). In Prague, as it were, there is a division into microdistricts and hotels located in the historical parts of the city are more expensive, and this hotel is located behind the historical part, but the microdistrict is located just opposite the center, across the river. By tram (stop next to the hotel) 10 minutes to the center, you can walk and walk for 40 minutes slowly. Read the reviews on various resources, the rooms are small, but people stay there several times, maybe this option will suit you for the weekend.
