How much does it cost to celebrate the New Year in Prague
My girlfriend and I are going on a Czech Mosaic tour, we are in Prague on December 31.
Should we order a New Year's dinner at the hotel or better to choose the program of the celebration. How do New Year's celebrations take place there?

They don't celebrate NY (Sylvester) much. On December 31, at 9 pm, we easily found a free table in a normal restaurant, had dinner. There was no special program, only waiters in hippie outfits from the 60s. Then we went to the center. On Wenceslas Square. there were stalls where you could get sausages, roasted chestnuts, grog. There are a lot of people, they drink beer or champagne from the bottle, fireworks ... Nothing "sort of", but there were very pleasant memories.

it is better to go to celebrate the New Year at the Old Town Square. There really is real fun! It is definitely worth booking a table in popular restaurants

New Year's Eve can be cheerfully celebrated on Staromak or Vaclavak....everywhere there will be a crowd of cheerful and hospitable townspeople and tourists. Stock up on champagne and glasses in advance. It is customary to treat around and to treat yourself. There are no problems with restaurants. There are many of them, there are usually places, payment according to the menu, everyday prices .... In the evening of January 1 !!! there will be fireworks in the city. It is more convenient to watch it from Staromak to the north to the Vltava embankment (you can go along the French Boulevard) .... Have a good New Year!
