Hello. September 19 returned from Bulgaria. We stayed at Madara Hotel. I’ll start point by point, but please read to the end, although there may be a lot, I will evaluate according to a 5-point system:
1. FIRST IMPRESSION.
1.1 The building of the hotel is 6-storey, well-maintained with the original design of the entrance with white stones and green spaces. The building itself is rather simple, without sophistication - 4 POINTS
1.2 HALL. The hall is spacious, wide, bright, there are many sofas and armchairs for conversations and waiting. - 4 POINTS
1.3 WIFI. The hotel has free and paid WI-FI Free works only in the lobby, quite fast if no more than 10 people use it. If there are more users, it is almost impossible to log in, and if you miraculously log in, then with a frequency of 5-10 minutes - it knocks out. Paid high-speed WI-FI, no problem, cost 5 lev per day. - 4 POINTS
2. NUMBER.

2.1 SETTLEMENT. In the settlement card, it was indicated that we were supposed to have a room on the 6th floor with a sea view. In fact, we were settled on the second floor, 2 meters from the main entrance. When we contacted the administration, we were told that there were no other rooms. Yes, the hotel is full enough, but there were free rooms, in particular, the rooms to the right and left of us were periodically empty.
2.2 DIRECTLY NUMBER. The number is like a long hole, and regardless of the standard number to the apartment numbers, it is just a longer or less long hole. I will describe the room standard "improved"))): opening the door, you find yourself in a narrow corridor, 1 meter wide and 2.5 meters long. On the right is the bathroom. Let's go to the bathroom. Width 1.5m. On the left is the toilet. If your height is more than 190 cm, then your knees practically rest against the wall, you need to sit straight))). Directly opposite the entrance is a washbasin - normal. On the right is a tight cabin, only without doors, they are not provided, just a half-closed protective wall. When you swim, no matter how close you are to the wall and the shower, water splashes all over the bathroom, respectively, the floor is constantly wet - it’s not surprising to kill yourself, even considering that the jets from the shower spray in different directions, and not in one direction. Let's finally leave the toilet and go into the room, or little room))), that's more correct. Room width 2.5m, length 3.5m. The room is so narrow that only a bed can fit and a small passage remains. A TV (tube), for lack of space, was installed on the side of the bed on a shelf of a furniture wall. The furniture wall is not at all clear for whom it was made - not a single drawer either in it or in the bedside tables. Bed is normal. Pillows - bought the cheapest and probably even when the hotel was built - from holofiber, or something like that, everything is knocked down in lumps, it's terribly uncomfortable to sleep. Let's go out to the balcony. The balcony is narrow, well, respectively, like the room is 2.5 meters. Divisions between neighbors are purely symbolic. Do you want to climb, do you want to look into the room. But this, as it turned out, is not the worst thing. THERE IS NO SOUND INSULATION BETWEEN THE ROOMS. No soundproofing material was placed between the drywall (which the walls are made of), therefore, even if you just talk in a calm voice in the room, you can hear everything verbatim. Yes, I almost forgot))) THERE IS AN ADJACENT DOOR BETWEEN THE MODERN ROOMS))), thank God it is closed, but considering that it is made of some kind of prescarton, it is even worse than plasterboard walls, without sound insulation. The furniture itself, rather meager and poor in the room.
The room, as I already wrote, was a little to the right of the main entrance to the hotel. Buses arrived every 20-30 minutes during the day and every hour at night, bringing and picking up vacationers. At the same time, they do not have to turn off the engine. All the stench from exhaust gases instantly enters all rooms. The noise of people coming and going is simply unbearable. Almost opposite the main entrance is a trash can. Every day at 5 o'clock in the morning a garbage truck comes and rumbles containers. Well, I won't say anything about smells. In general, it was possible to live in a room with almost a permanently closed window. I put a well-deserved rating for the room - 1 POINT
3. SERVICE

3.1. ADMINISTRATION. Tightly frostbitten, sorry for the veracity. Everyone honestly looks into your eyes, smiles, and does what is convenient for them - the situation with the settlement has already been described. - 2 POINTS
3.2. CLEANING. We have not seen worse cleaning in any hotel (for the fifth time in Bulgaria). It is practically IMPOSSIBLE to drive a cleaning lady to do the cleaning. They only clean before new customers check in. A couple of times we found a cleaner and asked to clean. Cleaning consisted in the fact that they brought us new soap, towels, and replaced the ashtray - EVERYTHING. Not once in 7 days did they vacuum the carpet, never change the linen, never wash the floors anywhere. Even the chewing gum on the glass left by previous vacationers was not removed until the end of our vacation. Accordingly, the glasses are not at all clear when they were washed or changed. - 1 POINT
4. TERRITORY. The territory of the hotel is practically NO AT ALL, the fact that there are small pieces of greenery is well-groomed. A small puddle, in the form of a pool, about 50 square meters, which is claimed by an incomparable number of vacationers, looks sad. There is a small basketball court (about 40 square meters) and the same playground, a small scene for animators - AND THIS IS EVERYTHING. There is not much to roam around, I had to walk around other hotels. - 3 POINTS
5. FOOD. The food, in general, is not bad. Not very varied. The hotel very often uses secondary products in food. That is, today you did not eat pork, it was processed, rice was added, pepper was stuffed. They didn’t eat the sausage, they cut it into salads. Everything seems to be businesslike, but probably the conditions for storing products, from which secondary products are then made, are not always correct, because. I saw several vacationers who applied to the reception with poisoning. I thought it wouldn't affect us. I’ll note first for jokers and skeptics - my husband and I don’t drink))) We didn’t buy other products in stores, because the food was sufficient. However, on the last day, they got poisoned with something. - 4 POINTS

6. BEACH. The hotel does not have its own beach. It takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the nearest beach between other hotels. The beach is sandy, but cleanliness is not particularly monitored.
7. INFRASTRUCTURE. On the way to the beach from all sides there are stalls with everything you can, bars, clubs, supermarkets. But everything is very expensive there. We went to Varna ourselves on bus 409, ticket 3.5 lev, and found the cheapest KNAUF supermarket (we visited many, including Grand Mal, Piccadilly - nothing special, large areas, small assortment and expensive) - 4 POINTS
8. LOCATION OF THE HOTEL. The hotel is located 20 meters from the highway, respectively - very noisy, and of course, constant exhausts. There is another hotel next to Madara Hotel. Oddly enough, 80% of Russians and Ukrainians rest there. In the evening, the feeling that he was in the 80-90s in the USSR. The songs of Butyrka, the swan on the pond - the apogee, almost every evening - the anthem of the USSR, and - all this is karaoke)))) - 2 POINTS
RESULT: we were more tired and exhausted from vacation than at work, we arrived broken and upset. The hotel does not deserve 4 stars at all. Here and 3 with a very big stretch. The name PARK HOTEL is just some kind of mockery, because. there is no park there. If you want to have a good rest - I DO NOT RECOMMEND HOTEL MADAR.
