We stayed at the hotel in August 2012. The first question when we got out of the taxi was, - "Well, isn't this our hotel"? I really liked the facade of the building, the swimming pool, the design of the landscaping of the territory and the transparent panoramic elevator. Everything is very compact and comfortable. At the entrance to the hotel there is a small shower, in order to rinse after the sea or the pool. In addition, there are 2 summer cafes on the territory of the hotel (some tables are covered, others are not), where you can have breakfast, lunch, dinner or just sit quietly. There is also a bar near the pool which is located in front of the hotel. The bar is open from 9.00 to 23.00, but unfortunately the pool time is from 8.00 to 18.00 (some, however, swam and there were no comments from the side). In the bar you can take beer and soft drinks (prices are basically the same as in other cafes), but everything else is more expensive.
The hotel staff is quite friendly. Always smiling and welcoming. The hotel rooms are very clean, white towels and linens. The room was cleaned every day. The room has a TV, telephone, air conditioning, a mini-fridge (we used it at our discretion and there were no comments), a huge bed with a very comfortable solid mattress and other furniture (wardrobe, table, bedside tables). There is a mini-bar, but it is paid (and, in principle, not cheap), the prices are indicated in the hotel card under the phone. Also, it is worth canceling, very comfortable bathroom. Huge mirror, washbasin, hair dryer, bathtub and toilet. Meals - we had only breakfast (from 8.00 to 10.00). In the cafe inside the hotel every morning they served the so-called "buffet": tomato-cucumbers, salad something like "Greek", two types of cheese (hard and feta cheese), 5-6 types of sausages, boiled sausages, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, muesli flakes, pancakes, toast, croissants, jam, honey, chocolate, yogurt, butter, toast, cakes and other pastries, watermelon, peaches and plums. Two types of juice orange and cherry (from the machine) and a free coffee machine (coffee of your choice). Breakfast was enough through the roof.
The beach is across the road from the hotel. It is worth noting (I think many will be interested) opposite the hotel is not just a beach, but the only nudist beach in Sozopol. Nudists occupy an area of about 10-15 meters of the beach, the usual beach is further and further away. There are umbrellas and deck chairs, but they are not quite cheap - 5-6 lev (1 dollar - 1.5 lev), so it's better to have your own umbrella and towel.

The water in the sea is really very clean. You can stand up to your neck in the water and look at the pebbles and shells at the bottom. I can't even believe that this is the Black Sea.
Not far from the hotel (5 minutes walk) is one of the busiest streets of Sozopol - st. Ropotamo. Cafes, clubs, attractions, souvenirs, clothes, various sweets, fast food, etc. located along the entire length of the street. Delicious pizzas, pastries, baked pancakes and donuts (still small, 12-15 pieces each) with a variety of toppings. Mountains (no, really) mountains of ice cream with all sorts of flavors and additives... Everything is not very expensive and very tasty.
Many fish and meat dishes cooked on the grill. I also advise you to try the fried fish "tsa-tsa". What you need for beer. Who loves seafood - you won’t lose, there is also plenty of this and everything is available.
Barbecue is cooked very, very well, and pork kebab costs three times cheaper than beef kebab. We bought most often shish kebab wrapped in pita (something like a hot dog) with the addition of grilled vegetables, an amazing dish, honestly.
I don't recommend trying the national Bulgarian cuisine. I don’t know, but everything that we haven’t tried is either too fatty or oversalted and with the addition of a huge amount of spices. Sometimes it was not even immediately possible to understand what the dish consisted of, due to a real overabundance of spices.
The hotel is 15-20 minutes walk from the old Sozopol. Old narrow streets and wooden two-story houses. A lot of greenery. Trees with figs and pomegranates grow like our apple trees. All the streets are saturated with the smell of the sea, sweet figs and fragrant pastries (well, sometimes something else, but I think we'll miss it... ).

We went around a variety of cafes and restaurants, but especially stopped at one on the street. Sea cliffs 25 - "Tangra". The restaurant resembles a fisherman's house (if you are a party-goer and love luxury, this is not the place for you). Everything is very simple, but a stunning view from the windows of the restaurant (view of the island of St. Ivan and the Bourgas Bay). Many come to photograph the sunset over the sea. In a cafe, I advise you to try mussels in shells (portion 800 g - 10 lev).
Another plus, if you chose Sozopol for your vacation, is a trip to Istanbul (I don’t know how it will be, but in August 2012 entry into Turkey was visa-free). The cost of an excursion to Istanbul is from 88 lev to 140 lev, depending on how many days, with or without meals, etc. There are trains as excursions, and there are just for the purpose of shopping. We didn't go, but we asked a lot about the trip. If for one day, then departure at 22.30 from Sozopol and arrival in Istanbul at 5.30. Back somewhere at 18.00 and in Sozopol in the aisles of 2 am. If you wish, take more money with you  .
In general, Sozopol is a very beautiful and interesting city. Holidays with the family will be unique. Trips on “brychkas” (60 lev), boat trips on the Black Sea (10 lev per adult), various attractions, a lot of all sorts of sweets and of course the sea itself will not let you quickly forget about yourself. There is something to remember and I remember my vacation in Sozopol only with a smile.
