It's worth going to Australia at least for the sake of zoos.
Family traveled to Sydney in March. Impressions are amazing! At first, they were afraid that it would be difficult for children to fly for such a long time (and not only for children), but as a result, with a stop in Tokyo, with excursions, real Japanese cuisine, etc. , it is quite tolerable.
A couple of days later, already in Australia, they realized that you can go there, if only because of the zoos. The daughters were just delighted that kangaroos can be easily hand-fed, and koalas can be held in your arms and photographed with them. We've been to Toronga Zoo, Featherdale National Park and the Australian Reptile Park. I recommend including these places in the program for everyone who is going to Sydney, especially if you are traveling with children - they will definitely not forget this!
