We booked a trip to Turkey. It all started with the fact that after signing the contract and making an advance payment of 10,000 UAH. 2 hours later we got a call and were told that our ticket would be $200 more expensive - $1050 instead of $850 (they say there was a discrepancy and the employee (Elena) forgot to refresh the page and told us outdated information). But the berries were ahead! A day later, they call us and change the hotel and (what is most unpleasant) the city. Then I bring the surcharge and rewrite the contract. The next day they call us again and say that the hotel reservation did not go through and AGAIN they are changing the hotel. I ask you to send me his name by mail. It turns out to be some godforsaken village at 130! km from the airport! My wife and I refuse. After that, they promise us 1 more hotel and call back in half an hour. These half-hours drag on for three! Booking never confirmed! Nerves give up, I call and say that I'm going for money. Before departure 2 days. Vacation on the verge of collapse. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a locked metal door. After a persistent knock, they open it for me. Please wait ANOTHER HOUR! With a child and a disgusting mood, I ask (still politely) to return my money. They are playing for time, they are talking teeth, but the money is never returned. I say that I will go to the police (the department is nearby). Tamara (director) goes to another room, allegedly for money. Employee Elena speaks her teeth for about 20 minutes, asks to wait for a call from the hotel. The time is drawing near to evening. I understand that there is nothing to catch here, and other travel agencies will close in 2 hours. Requests for a refund have been ignored. I'm calling the police. As soon as Tamara hears my dialogue with the policeman, she immediately runs out with the money, as if scalded. I am withdrawing my complaint to law enforcement. I take the money, along the way, listening to insults about my social status, my wife, who “nags” and “shouts” at me (they say that’s why I’m so angry). Although I did not allow myself A SINGLE RUDE WORD addressed to them. The most “strong” curse that escaped from my lips in the presence of my little daughter was “damn” (and it was used exclusively as an interjection)! When I counted the money, I heard another portion of rudeness addressed to me. Moreover, these manipulations and attempts to shame were so professionally staged that I really almost considered myself guilty of this 4-day swindle.
P.S. And finally. 1st: employees brazenly lie to the client, saying that you can not cancel the request for a hotel reservation (the answer to which did not even come from the operator). 2nd: they profit from the difference in the exchange rate (I found out in other companies: none of them require additional payments if the contract has already been signed and the money has been paid).
