We stopped by friends who were vacationing in Polyana.
We chose the hotel based on the brand. Were very disappointed.
1. Rest in the Carpathians is associated with silence and relaxation, which is what they expected. Alas. . .
The hotel itself is located along a busy highway and half of the rooms have windows on the road. Only a metal-plastic double-glazed window saves from noise. Sleeping with the window open and breathing is out of the question.
2. Managers should say that the hotel is "imprisoned" for holidays with children from one to 10 years old. Instead of a quiet dinner and relaxation, "childless" guests are forced to be participants in the children's (a group of 30 people) animation until 21.30 with rumbling music and clowns (by the way half of the children sobbed after such an animation... competition is a cruel thing. ) There is no alternative room for evening relaxation in the hotel.

These are the biggest disappointments. Other quite significant disadvantages were told by previous authors. Everything is true.
From the pros.
1. Warm pool with a very comfortable air temperature in the spa.
2. Beautiful rooms, bathrobes.
3. Pump room with mineral water.
4. Possibility of basic medical (spa) procedures.
5. Polite and pleasant staff at the reception and in the restaurant.
