I could not even imagine that this summer I will get to a wonderful place called the Carpathians. The trip was spontaneous.

My mother has a two-week vacation, which she planned to spend on the Sea of Azov, but due to the mass release of fish on the coast, she decided to go to the mountains. She invited me to go with her for company. The tour was purchased in two weeks. I did not delve into the route or any tour operator, I knew one thing - I'm going to the Carpathians!

We arrived in Lviv the day before departure. A double room was booked for the night at Mr. Hostel. The hostel is a hostel, but for one night it is quite acceptable, for two 180 UAH. , and almost in the city center. Lviv greeted us with rain and coolness, even though we were leaving the 35-degree heat of Donetsk. Leaving things in the hostel, they went to show their mother the city. I have been to Lviv 3 times already and I will probably never stop enjoying it!

Ancient streets, cobblestones, beautiful architecture, cozy cafes and more.

Unfortunately, the map prepared at home and the audio guide for the tour did not help. It is very troublesome to hold an umbrella and a map, listen through the sounds of rain to headphones. . In general, just a tour of the sights of the city center. We couldn't help but go to Kryivka, though my mother was always worried that we would be counted : ) And we looked closer to the evening to a new place for me Coffee-Mine. I like the creative approach of Lviv institutions and I can't help but be pleased with the prices.

Departure is scheduled for 9 am. The group (about 25 people) gathered on time, and we left even 10 minutes earlier.

Yuriy Martyniuk was declared the guide in the infolist, but for some reason he took another group, and on the first day we had a girl Marta - a positive person, gave a lot of interesting and useful information, tried from the first minute to set everyone up for a great vacation.

It was the only day on the tour when we were shown some documentaries. All other days we spent about 15 Ukrainian songs, repeated in a circle. Which did not spoil the rest. Most of these songs were heard by me for the first time, and were so-called and very popular!

"I will go to distant mountains, to wide meadows ... "

All these lines from the songs take me back to those pleasant moments of travel.

The first excursion was on the Dovbush rock.

Stunning place: forest, boulders of various sizes - from half a meter of stones to the rocks on which climbers train. According to Marta, Oleksa Dovbush and his guards lived in these forests for a long time. An interesting moment of the tour was a hike, or rather squeezing through Purgatory.

The rocks on the sides narrow to a width of literally 20-30 centimeters and so on for a meter and a half, but I will note that even men of considerable build bravely overcame it : ) all women. This tour (about 2 hours in time) united the group, all a little tired but happy went to dinner at a cafe, where everyone made a reservation before the tour. Thanks to the attendant for being thoughtful in this regard, we did not waste time waiting until the food was prepared.

Then move to the village. Goshev and visiting the monastery. There was no tour of it, free time was given for about half an hour, especially stories about this monastery I do not remember.

And at the end of the day - moving to Ivano-Frankivsk.

First, check-in at the hotel "Nadiya", then a short tour of the center, more aimed at showing places to dine, where to try delicious cakes and buy souvenirs. Martha said goodbye to us. From the second day, Vladimir became our guide.

A little about the hotel. My mother and I liked it. Clean, relatively new furniture, the room has a hairdryer, mini bar, air conditioning. It is worth noting that almost the entire tour, except for the last day, we were accompanied by a comfortable temperature - 25 degrees. So the air conditioners were not included.

The buffet is excellent, people who take out food were not noticed: ) Pleased with the choice of juices, delicious coffee and various pastries. Lovers of a dense breakfast - will not stay hungry.

Already returning to Donetsk, I watched the program "Inspector", where Olya Freimut criticized the hotel. Well, maybe our requests are not so big, and we are not so picky.

Somewhere at 9 o'clock they moved out.

At the reception she bought stamps without any problems to send a postcard bought to her husband in Lviv.

As I have said since that day, Vladimir became our guide (it is impossible to write his name in Russian). As I understand it, he is not a staff guide, he was put on the emergency route as a person who knows the roads and trails of the Carpathian Mountains. He was not silent on the bus, trying to share interesting information about the culture and traditions of the Hutsuls, to tell interesting stories. Why I write I tried to share, but because the audio equipment in the bus was not up to par, and much of what was said disappeared behind the noise. If Marta spoke loudly and loudly, Volodymyr did not want to strain, as he himself said "I do not want to break my voice. "

On this day on the way to Yaremche we visited Bukhtovetsky waterfall. 15 meters high and one and a half meters wide, cold mountain water, but there were brave people in our group who were swimming.

What I liked, as in most of the sights of the Carpathians - is the lack of crowds of tourists that I constantly observe in the Crimea.

At the waterfall we were given about an hour and a half of free time. If she had known, she had prepared for the picnic in advance. And so she soaked her knives in water and admired the natural beauty and tranquility.

The next stop is a wooden church, literally 15 minutes in the photo. Then we went to Yaremche to settle in the hotel "In Mariana and Nazar". Cozy hotel, home type, rooms made of wood, had a hair dryer, refrigerator, unfortunately, was not. Breakfasts - tea, coffee, pastries, sausage and cheese, salad, yogurt. For me it is tasty and enough, for men, probably, it will not be enough.

The hotel is a five minute walk from the river and beautiful mountains, to the main street Yaremche 15 minutes walk.

At 4 o'clock we went on another excursion - the Prut River to the Probiy waterfall.

This waterfall was significantly different from what we had seen before: wide, many cascades of small height, powerful streams of water. There was nothing special to talk about here, so it's just 1.5 hours of free time. There is also a large souvenir bazaar. Many products from sheepskin and wood. Most of the gifts were bought here. I really liked the skins of different animals on the floor - prices average 300 UAH.

That day we had lunch in Yaremche in "Pirizhkova" - the prices are ridiculous. We had dinner all the time in a cafe near the hotel.

On this day, an elective was offered - a feature of this tour - climbing Mount Hoverla. The whole group left. The hike took 4 hours of ascent and the same amount of descent. Time is at the top.

Some took photos, some just enjoyed the scenery, and some even had a picnic with pre-prepared Carpathian tinctures (unfortunately I do not remember the name). Physically, the day seemed difficult, but also unforgettable.

If I had an idea of what awaits us, I would hardly dare to conquer the top ...I thought it would be a leisurely walk up the hill, naive : ) We climbed the path of medium difficulty, there were areas that when turning back began to turn my head. Volodymyr took us down another road (for an additional fee), which is usually not taken by tourists. So we managed to see another waterfall, very high and beautiful, but we crawled along such paths that it is unlikely that you will ever dare to do so. Legs are not that, then hummed, they just could not be felt! In general, now I have a certificate of conquest of Hoverla : )

No less interesting is the elective "Visiting folk masters… with lunch on the meadow", if the weather does not rage. The whole group went again.

At first we stopped to look at the ski jumps, and even in summer they are operational, but unfortunately it was not training that day.

A pity, I like to watch these competitions in Eurosport, but some tourists saw this for the first time, and it was hard for them to imagine what kind of sport it is, and who has to jump somewhere: )

Then for an hour and a half we went to the private "Museum of Hutsul life, ethnography and musical instruments of Roman Kumlyk. " Very friendly hosts, interesting stories about life and musical instruments, the owner himself played all the instruments, and even created a musical group of members of the group. The tour was fun.

Then we had a Hutsul dinner in a real Carpathian family with Medovuha (delicious) and Genjora (dignity is rare, but they say very useful), banosh and other national cuisine.

In the afternoon a trip in a specially equipped truck to the meadow. Polonyna is a plain high in the mountains, where animals are driven out to graze from spring to autumn.

Here we were overtaken by a thunderstorm and a downpour, the sky was covered with leaden clouds, we did not have time to walk 10 meters, we had to return to the car. Here is the only huge minus to our attendant, when the truck driver said it was better to go down until the road was washed away, Vladimir and a man of 5 willing to go for a walk in the meadow, despite the weather and the rest of the group left in the bus. We were scared for good reason. But thank God they came down from the mountains without incident.

And the final point of the day was a visit to the House-Community, where the film "Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors" was shot, a nice place, an interesting story of one of the descendants of the owners of this house. Now there is, of course, a museum. For some reason, I remember the story that only the traditional attire of the bride and groom in the Carpathians requires about 25 thousand hryvnias. And to add another week's celebration and the whole village is invited ...oh, this is not an easy task ...

The program of this day includes an excursion "Mykulychynska Switzerland". Here we will see one of the most interesting objects - the only canyon in Ukraine with steep cliffs 10-12 m high, located on the tributary of the Prut. We pass a little higher, where another exclusive awaits us - the top of Gorgan Mykulychynsky (Burachkivsky - 1049.1 m), which is topped by a powerful 50-meter cliff.

Exit to the rock on the south side is quite gentle, its northern edge is a 70-meter cliff, an ideal place to see all the Carpathians in the palm of your hand - bizarre boulders, resounding overflows of winding fast rivers and transparent lightness of intoxicating mountain air ...(Difficulty - for beginners).

But since the previous day was a downpour, the stones are probably slippery, the head decided not to go on this tour. At first, the option was to go to Bukovel, but for some reason we did not go there.

We limited ourselves to a trip to the souvenir market on the pass (I did not remember the name, I only remember that the Transcarpathian region began there), then went to a small canyon for a picnic.

Who ate sandwiches, who fried sausages, a nice bonus from the tour operator was two bottles of Carpathian tincture, after which the conversation became even friendlier and hotter : ) Again, there were those wishing to swim in the river after the rain. Where we rested, the water in the rivers has ceased to be red. On the way to Yaremche, the driver stopped at the brewery at the request of those who wished. Personally, I bought the best souvenir for my husband there, the beer was successfully brought home, but on the second day of the tasting it began to lose its flavor.

I would like to write a few warm words about our driver Andrew - a master of his craft, the bus was organized every day, always helped with suitcases, calm, with a sense of humor, a nice person.

Check out. It was a little sad to part with the beauty of the Carpathians and return to real life.

On the way to Lviv, arrival in Rohatyn, Roksolana's homeland.
