Kolochava - sadiba "Gendarmska administration"
Kolochava is an excellent tourist village where you can spend a pleasant little vacation.
We rested from August 21 to 24 at the Gendarmeska Uprava hotel. This is a museum hotel with a long history.
The hotel has 2 and 3-bed rooms, and on the ground floor there is a tavern. The hotel has excellent service and cleanliness. Separately, I would like to note the owners - they are smart. And even though we booked the room 2 months before the peak vacation dates, our room was waiting for us, for which special thanks to the owners (we know cases when you arrive at the booked room, and they say “Sorry... There are no rooms” So there is no such thing here). The food is very varied: for every taste and budget. It's always full of people.
There are a couple of interesting locations in the village that you definitely need to visit.
Poultry. A hundred meters from the center of the village there is a garden where a parrot lover lives. He has about 30 species of parrots.
Old village. In 30 min. walking distance from the center there is a museum where our folk way of life and the rise of communism intersect (at an amateur).
Trout state (Rib FISH). At 1 km from the center (towards the reservoir) there are lakes with trout, where you can go fishing, and then eat deliciously what you caught.
Lake Mereshor. The lake is a two-hour walk from the hotel. This is a very beautiful and picturesque place - beauty and silence... But there is a significant nuance to this lake, or rather, to stupid people who throw plastic into nature. The rain with the river brings it all here to the lake. And since this is a water reservoir for a power plant, not only water is accumulated there, but also mountains of garbage in places. Now, if you remove the garbage, then this place will be much more beautiful than Synevyr.
Mountains. And of course the mountains - there they are around, so take a map, choose a route and go.
