Tell me, how far are the free beaches from the hotel? how long is the nearest free beach?

Go to the hotel website everything is written there: http://chaynaya-gorka.com/location/

If you are interested in the free beach, then it is quite far away. Massandra (which is a 20-minute walk) is the best beach on this part of the coast and the most expensive, respectively.
The free beach starts from the Oreanda hotel, and this is already behind the Massandra beach, through Vodopadnaya.
But there is a lot of public transport in Yalta. It's OK.

thank you very much for the answer. Tell me, is the nearest beach from the hotel "Chayna Gorka" and how much does it cost? :)

it will be best if you call or write to the hotel. Because last year, it seems like a decree was issued that all beaches in Crimea are free. How things work is not really known. Yes, and a free beach is relatively, sun loungers and umbrellas are paid (more expensive than in Europe, by the way).

Don't be so scared! It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the free beach mentioned above at a very average pace, and in 20 you can crawl. Maybe Massandra is cleaner (I was not there), but the sea is the same, i.e. not very transparent: the port, after all, is very close.

Tell me, please, is it dangerous to live on the -1 floor? The phrase on the site "Entrance from the balcony" is frightening. That is, any person from the street can enter the room?
аватар cat1975
Hardly from the street: the hotel area is fenced, and the passage is controlled by security. Well, any number, moreover, is closed with a key.

It takes a very long time to walk to the beach in the heat and then back. Go downhill and downhill. Tell the truth for 15 or 20 minutes already. And yet the Massandra beach is dirty and the city is teeming with feces. You write here on the travel truth how it should be. And 2 years ago they generally cheated.

As for the walking time, I say the way we did it. And in the heat itself, we tried not to drag. As for the beach, I did not say that it was clean: here both the port and the people are not clean. This is to some extent offset by a very good hotel pool. As for the prepayment, everything was fine with us: they even settled in the room not at 14.00, as indicated, but at 12.00. In general, everything is relative. I liked the hotel, and the sea - well, what is it. We not only sat on the beach all the time, but also visited various other places and events: a zoo, a water park, a botanical garden, excursions by sea, etc. So the truth is also different. It’s just that Crimea itself is closer to me than, perhaps, cleaner Turkey and other countries.

I recently booked a room at this hotel via the Internet, now after the review I’m afraid ... all of a sudden I’ll also sit on a suitcase (((... tell me how you booked?
аватар cat1975
I booked a room at the beginning of April. I was billed and I transferred 50% of the cost of the holiday. The hotel employees notified me by e-mail about the arrival of money and that's it. To be honest, I was also afraid, even asked to send a copy of the invoice by fax. I also took bank transfer receipts with me. But everything turned out to be fine. We were even checked in a little earlier. In the meantime, we were waiting for the room to be prepared, we were given towels and offered to spend time by the pool (things were allowed to be left in the director's room). So we did not sit on suitcases :-)

Thank you for the answer, I hope everything will be fine. True, I didn’t transfer 50%, but the cost for one day. Something apparently changed with them. But about the check-in, we also arrive early in the morning, we will probably try to check in early ...
