Help me to understand
I'm going to Simeiz-Zori Ukraine in early August. The price was small, like for a sanatorium on the South Coast - up to 300 UAH per person and they don't book in advance. Is it worth it to go?

If this is the price for a standard room (not a suite), then it is quite normal. But the fact that they don’t book is strange ... in early August, at the height of the season, there may be no places.
Try to book a room through a travel agency. Of course, you will have to overpay a little (there are companies that take a rather small commission), but you will be sure that your vacation is arranged and they are waiting for you there, and that you will not have to wander around the city in the heat with things in search of decent housing.

Was in the "Dawns of Ukraine" in 2006. Judging by the latest reviews there, unfortunately, nothing has changed for the better since then! Everyone complains that there was never a good owner for this Soviet legacy! Waiting for everything to finally collapse. and then they will grab it for a penny! Part of the territory of the sanatorium has already been stolen and a private boarding house has been built. So I don't see any point in going there. All the soviet equipment of the rooms without air conditioners with broken everything that can break from plumbing to the bed! The food is awesome too! Before civilization, i.e. Yalta is far and difficult to get to if you are without a car. The same situation with fruits! In short, complete anguish and disappointment! I don't recommend going there!

For a long time everyone should understand that no one is going to invest in infrastructure. There is a simple "download" of dough and advertising of Turkish resorts. Yes, long live the Turkish coast, which is only 270 km in a straight line ...

Rested in August 2008.
the location is very good. not far from both Sevastopol and Yalta, that is, it is very convenient to go on all excursions around the South Coast.
A big beach, no one sits on anyone's head even in high season, we went to the beach with stones, so there was no one there except us.
that's where the positives end :(
the food is terrible, soviet, sometimes there was an impression that the food was not fresh, I didn’t eat everything, but I wasn’t hungry
the rooms are terrible, the air conditioner practically did not work, the bathroom is terrible, the beds are not changed
cafe on the beach is expensive, there is no choice of alcohol, you have to wait sooo long for food ..
I won't go again :(

Nothing breaks there. Bed and towels are changed once a week. Food is normal, canteen. And cafes are expensive everywhere. This is a sanatorium. They go there to improve their health, and not to choose alcohol. Thank you that there are still such sanatoriums where you can go to improve the health of a child, for which only the South Coast is shown.

rested in the winter of 2007, but the impressions are the most positive. despite the "Sovkovost" all the staff (all!) are determined to create maximum comfort for vacationers, the dining room is excellent, they tried for 5 points, but the location of the sanatorium is just a fairy tale !!!
