On the evening of September 13, we arrived in Sevastopol. I was somewhat frightened by the information in the guide that Sevastopol is popular among foreigners, as a result of which rental prices are very high. Therefore, we decided to stay in the suburbs of Sevastopol. To begin with, we went to Balaklava, where there was a seaport, and housing was rented far enough from the sea. The next option was Lyubimovka, where we arrived after dark. Since it is extremely difficult to look for housing in the dark, we decided to seek help from a gas station attendant at a local gas station. He turned out to be a kind person, phoned the owner of the property by phone (we gave him approximate requirements - double rooms with private facilities and hot water, preferably a kitchen) and a taxi driver was sent for us : ) After 20 minutes, a car arrived, "on the tail" of which we set off to housing. Imagine our surprise when we again drove into Sevastopol.
Arriving at the right house, we were shocked by the sight that opened before us: a beautiful three-story building with many rooms loomed in a small cozy courtyard.
Manager Aleksey led us to look at the rooms, listing their characteristics along the way. With every next word we just fell into a trance, like rabbits hypnotized by a boa constrictor: "Each room has a safe, a refrigerator, air conditioning, a TV with cable channels and DVD, a hair dryer in the bathroom, there is summer furniture on the balcony; on the roof there is a swimming pool and sun loungers ". The price of a double room in this "Scheherazade's fairy tale" was only 150 UAH/day (~$30)! At the same time, all of the above took place and in a very decent condition! We learned that this hotel was completely new - it opened just a month ago.

In each room, in addition to all of the above, there were three types of towels and disposable slippers. There is no need to talk about shampoos and soaps in the bathroom.
In general, the owners of the hotel did everything to bring it as close as possible to 4 *, and they succeeded.
On the first floor of the hotel there is a kitchen with the maximum number of kitchen appliances: in addition to the standard electric kettle and microwave, there is a toaster, a very good stove with an oven, a couple of refrigerators "just in case", a full set of dishes, including glasses and a lot of different kitchen trifles. There are two tables in the courtyard where you can have breakfast in good weather (we did). In addition, on the ground floor there is a mini-bar where you can sit with your company, with two large tables and a huge screen TV.
Since the hotel has just opened, some things are still in the process of "finishing". In the near future, there will also be a sauna!
The entrance to the hotel territory is through a gate with a combination lock, so there are no prying eyes on the territory : ) It should be noted that all the time we were there, Alexei did everything to make us as comfortable as possible. It was felt in every little thing, and, believe me, such an attitude is worth a lot!
Another big plus is its very good transport accessibility. The hotel is located two minutes walk from the pier "Severnaya", from which boats leave for Grafskaya pier. Thus, the center is literally 10 minutes. Boats run from 5.30 to 23.30 and cost 1 hryvnia. This is the most convenient and fastest way to get to the center. Near the pier is the bus station "Northern", from which depart all routes in the northern part of Sevastopol and its immediate suburbs (Lyubimovka, Uchkuevka, etc. ). There is also a small market there. In general, everything you need for a comfortable life.
Briefly, I would describe this place as a "European 4 * hotel with a family atmosphere. " I recommend and highly recommend!

So, having shown us our rooms, Aleksey helped us carry our luggage to the rooms, showed us how to use the safe (each set his own code) and wished us a pleasant evening, bowed out. We were simply in euphoria - after a busy day, evening searches for housing and disappointment that almost overtook us, Sevastopol gave us a too powerful surprise! : ) Having slightly recovered, it was decided to test the pool on the roof, and then celebrate our arrival in Sevastopol with Massandra wines. The rooftop pool was not very big, but just enough for a dip and some splashing around. We folded the towels on the sunbeds standing nearby, and made a mini-swim : )
After that, we decided to settle in our room (I did not want to go to the bar yet).
They dragged the table from the balcony into the room, turned on the TV, which was playing Ozon's chic film "8 Women", and began to enjoy Prince Golitsyn's Seventh Heaven. The end of the film was followed by the first session of dice and the now favorite pastime "Uno". We parted way past midnight.

It's not hard to guess that our morning came around noon : ) However, sometimes you need to give yourself a break (we got up at 9 during the whole vacation). petrovna went to the market and fed us a delicious breakfast. In the meantime, we asked Alexei about the nearest beaches and our location. It turned out to be extremely successful. In a couple of minutes we reached General Zakharov Square, where the bus station, the pier are located, and very close to the market. After 10 minutes on a very comfortable minibus we were taken to the beach in Uchkuevka (1 UAH).
The beach in Uchkuevka was really sandy (we asked Alexei for a sandy beach, there is also a pebble one nearby). A public free beach, but maintained in good condition - stationary canopies are installed, there are changing cabins.
Having settled down on the beach, we went to the water. The temperature was "by eye" about 17-18 degrees (we are already used to this), but there were a lot of jellyfish near the coast. However, some of us did take the plunge.

After a refreshing "beach holiday", we quickly visited our hotel and went for a cultural holiday.
We longed to see Sevastopol and Chersonese. In this we were helped a lot by the excursion stand with the excursion we needed, located literally on the Grafskaya pier. For 50 UAH we were offered a 3-hour tour: sightseeing tour of the city + Chersonese.
Since it was almost an hour before the tour, and we already wanted to eat, we asked about the location of the "fast cafe".

We were recommended the "Reef" bar, two minutes from the Grafskaya Pier along the embankment. A very decent establishment. Having stated our request to the waitress - to feed us in 40 minutes, we received quite sensible advice. The waitress performed her task flawlessly - without hurrying, we had a full meal in a short time.
Returning to the Count's Quay, we introduced ourselves to the guide. The group was small, so we had a "chamber" excursion - 7 people. First, we went to the embankment through the Ekaterininsky public garden, then on a comfortable minibus we were shown the central "quadrangle" of Sevastopol. We made a short stop at the Vladimir Cathedral, after which we went to Chersonese.
Opposite the entrance to the museum-reserve of Chersonesos there was a small cafe where the soloist of the Moscow group "Umka and Armored Car" sang: ) Having joked about the vicissitudes of fate, we went to admire Chersonesos. After a very interesting and informative tour, we were given half an hour of free time. By 20 o'clock we gathered at the exit of the reserve, and set off on our way back.
Returning to the already familiar Grafskaya Pier, we again visited the Reef bar. This time we had plenty of time, we liked the cuisine and the prices, so we already ordered a full dinner. The food there is very tasty, the bar is located in the city center, so I recommend it.
