Where on the South Coast there are comfortable beaches for children?
In early August, we are planning to go to the Crimea with two children for two weeks. Since one child has problems with the respiratory system, there is a desire to go to the South Coast.
Since the beaches on the South Coast are more suitable for adults, I really want to have at least some, more or less, near-sand beach for children.
What place can you recommend so that children can have a good time on the beach?
Most boarding houses do not take small children (we have a one-year-old), then we plan to look for private hotels or already look for private offers on the spot.

All the same, it’s better for you to go to Evpatoria — the children themselves were treated in the local sanatoriums. Everything is adapted for children there — infrastructure, entertainment — quiet and calm sanatoriums with good treatment and relatively good food. we sit at home.

I saw only one beach, on which, in my opinion, it would be comfortable with a small child - the beach of the Dulber sanatorium, in the village of Koreiz. This is not sand, but small pebbles and the sea is calm. Ask http://dulber.net/
But, of course, I have not been to all the beaches of the South Coast.

Thank you babol. We were in Evpatoria a few years ago. Indeed, there are good beaches for children. But this year I want to go to the South Coast for a change.

There are pebbles almost everywhere on the South Coast. There are conditions for children in Evpatoria and children's sanatoriums, as well as in the village of Beregovoe (near Feodosia ... 6-7 km) so-called. "Golden Beach" fine sand made of microscopic shells. But neither Evpatoria nor Feodosia are included in the zone of "dry subtropics". It is better to go to the district of Miskhor. "Dulber" is really a wonderful sanatorium in the Miskhor region ... it has many branches. "Sea surf", "Dacha" (Dyulber) Miskhor and others.

I know almost all the beaches of the South Coast. According to your requirements, it is on the South Coast for children that you will not find a particularly comfortable beach. Pebble from Gurzuf to Sevastopol. If you need sand and small pebbles, then go to the southwestern coast near Sevastopol - Ukchkuevka, Kacha, Peschanoe. There is a wide beach line, there is enough space for everyone. There is one thing on the South Coast: the beach line is narrow, after winter storms that wash out the pebbles, they are often filled with rubble (and these are stones that are not polished and it’s impossible to lie on them at all). This is how, for example, in Gurzuf, the beaches of the embankment were poured two years ago and a year ago.
Miskhor is a wonderful place. But with beaches in the summer, even in Dyulber, you simply won’t be accommodated. Of course, it is possible that this year there are 0, 0 vacationers in Crimea, yes. But if we take past years in comparison, then in Dulber, Ai Petri, Marat, etc. comfortable unless in October. In the summer months on the beach, it's a struggle under the sun for a place. The resorts are large, there are many vacationers, and the beach strip is narrow. If the sea is still at least a little stormy and fills half the beach, that's it, "there is nowhere to fall at all"

It is in Dulber that the beaches are wide, there are a lot of them, sun loungers are free. I was there last summer, there is no pandemonium. Dulber is quite an expensive resort to be filled even in good times. This year, his beach will not be crowded.
аватар Pachok
I agree with musja7. In addition, it seems to me that the citizens of Ukraine will not be very comfortable this year in Crimea.
Do you consider other countries?
аватар lazy_person
"Sea surf" and the resort itself and the beach are excellent. Sanatorium "Dulber" from expensive in it a day from 120-150 dollars, there is no pandemonium. "Dacha" (Miskhor, Dulber branch) there is generally a closed beach, only vacationers from Dacha ...
It is incorrect to compare with "Ai-Petri" (trade-union sanatorium) and "Dyulber". By the way, in "Ai-Petri" there is a very large and good beach, there is always a place to stay and the sea is clean, and the park is nearby.

Last year in Miskhor were 2 times: in late July-early August and in November. In July-August, not a single beach is comfortable with children - the fullness is large. The beach line that is in Miskhor is good for the number of vacationers that is in October-November (yeah, last year in November the sea was +18, the air was +22). In the same Dulber in the summer, for money, everyone was allowed in, vacationers from the private sector. And in July, when the sea was stormy after the rains, the free zone was generally one narrow strip.
Of course, this year I do not think that there will be many people, because. judging by our travel statistics, even Russia mostly sits in Montenegro (10 planes from Russia arrive in Tivat every day. It’s a lot to this little Montenegro. Yes, and from Ukraine, all lovers of Crimea moved to Montenegro. Therefore, there are definitely fewer people in Crimea than As an option, you can consider the Zhemchuzhina sanatorium there - there has always been good food and good beaches (in Ukraine, the Zhemchuzhina belonged to the Customs Service, but I won’t tell you how it is now).

Also, since you are from Ukraine, keep this in mind: I strongly do not recommend going to Crimea in your car this year. Among those who have already rested, there are occasional cases when the vacation was a success, but people return back without cars. And this is not theft, but a banal robbery: if you have a more or less decent car, and not a broken Zhiguli, you can simply give the keys. At best, get train tickets in return, at worst, nothing. You will not prove anything to anyone, because the keys are "asked" to be given by the current "owners" (Cossacks, self-defense of the Crimea - call it what you want). Over the past month, there have already been 3 such cases among our tourists (in my region). Those. By car with Ukrainian license plates, I definitely do not recommend going to Crimea. Choose another way

If to go to the Crimea, then a dignity. "Sea Surf" (Dulber branch) is one of the best places. Near Alupka, Miskhor ... everywhere there are parks, vegetation, wonderful air, clean, beautifully equipped beaches, clear sea. There are few people, there is always enough space for everyone.

Rested in the "Pearl" and "Sail". The beach at the "Pearl" is located in the very bay of the "Swallow's Nest". The view is amazing, but the beach itself is small, spoils the pier (boats often go). Much better in "Sail" and cleaner beach, less people (harder to get in, because the elevator). But the sun sets behind the rock early, at 17 o'clock, this is a drawback. Vacationers after dinner, many go to the beach in the "Pearl", because of the sun. Don't sit by the sea in the evening...
alex181...
"Sail" is also a very good place...

Thanks everyone for the replies! In connection with them, I had a few more questions about the rest and the situation in the Crimea:
1. Is it possible to visit the beaches of Dulber without staying in their resort? If yes, what is the cost of visiting?
2. Is there a large selection of cheap offers from individuals in Koreiz? Our requirements are not big: a shared shower, toilet and the opportunity to cook a meal for a one-year-old child.
аватар Apyatka
Entrance to the territory of Dyulber last year was 40 UAH per person.

3. How dangerous is it really to travel to Crimea in your own car? What are the real statistics of incidents with cars with Ukrainian numbers?
Now there is no objectivity in the media and personal reviews. Both Russian and Ukrainian media cover opposing points of view, mostly in a negative light, and their own in a positive light. They also try to remain silent about their problems. I used to work in journalism, where the principle of objectivity was in the first place, so now I don’t trust everything that they write.
musja7
If this is a trend that prevails in Crimea, this should be heeded. But if these are special cases that still depend on other circumstances, then most problems can be foreseen.
Where can I find out the detailed circumstances under which the car robberies were committed?
аватар Pachok
There are personal reviews! Our acquaintances, the people of Kiev, the citizens of Ukraine lost their car in Evpatoria, exactly as described above. Crimea came out dear, more expensive than French Polynesia, and the sediment is vile.
аватар musja7
Is it possible to visit the beaches of Dulber without living in their resort?
- can. About the paid option has already been written. Another option - in the private sector, many local residents bring you a pass to the sanatorium beach for an additional fee (they have their own layouts there)
Is there a large selection of cheap offers from private individuals in Koreiz? Our requirements are not big: a shared shower, toilet and the opportunity to cook a meal for a one-year-old child.
- the private sector of Koreiz is too high from the beaches. There at least half an hour to stomp up the steep slopes. Definitely do not recommend with a child.
аватар musja7
Where can I find out the detailed circumstances under which the car robberies were committed?
- The press will not write about it. Three cases were specifically with our clients and acquaintances who traveled to the Crimea on Lviv and Kiev numbers. The first story happened in May in Gurzuf. People managed to go to the Crimea on a good foreign car. A few days later, kind people came to them, asked to give the keys to the car and offered them train tickets for the return trip in exchange. At the same time, they said that they could refuse tickets, but they still have to give the keys. They warned that complaining is useless. In practice, it turned out that the local police only smirked. The second case happened to the family of our teacher in Sevastopol in May. And the third, literally quite recently, after a good rest in Yalta, people were returning home. On the way back near Dzhankoy, they stopped, dropped me off the car, requisitioned the keys and advised me to go on the sly and not rock the boat, because you won’t be able to download your rights here anyway
I'm not writing this to scare you - I don't really care. It's just real cases with real people. Forewarned is forearmed

I wouldn't go myself, and even more so with children. My friend was left without a dacha near Yalta - they nationalized it. In Armyansk, on the way home, they took away a laptop. It’s good that I went on a “nine”, and not on a “Mercedes”. Yes, and two weeks on the South Coast is not enough to improve the well-being of children.

On the contrary, I think this year there will be a huge flow of tourists. Air tickets are in great demand. They say that the Simferopol airport will receive about a hundred flights a day.
аватар musja7
Igor, I think you are doing the right thing. Moreover, you are guaranteed to like it there. Thermal pool in "Kosino" (I recommend it more than Beregovsky), lake Dyida near Beregovo with clean water and a good recreation area "Boomerang", complex "Chorna Gora" with an interesting lake in Vynohradiv, castles of Transcarpathia .... Themselves at the first Opportunities always go to Transcarpathia (fortunately not far). I can’t recommend Crimea to anyone yet, even taking into account the fact that for the first time in many, many years I won’t dare to go here myself
аватар edels
musja7 why?
аватар musja7
edels, you are from Russia, we are from Ukraine. That's the whole difference in the "comfort" and "safety" of rest this year for you and for us. As for hundreds of flights from the Simferopol airport, to be honest, this is ridiculous only for one reason: have you ever seen the Simferopol airport live? Do you know its bandwidth and a number of other nuances? So far, it is easy to be convinced of the "huge flow of tourists" by turning on online webcams from different resort towns. Considering that the traditional "high season" for Crimea begins in 4 days (since June 20), the state is still deplorable. Well, the situation can get better by state employees. Today, in reality, your fellow citizens traditionally sit in Montenegro (for some reason), and not in Krymvash. Not one of my relatives from Russia is going to Crimea this year. They go to Turkey, the same Montenegro and Sochi-Anapa

Yes, the Soviet of Deputies attracts few people. But tickets to Crimea are very, very difficult to get, given the additional flights from all carriers, even for a new airline. You can see for yourself. I have not seen the airport, but I know that new terminals are open. The Russians do not have any aggressive attitude towards the citizens of Ukraine.
аватар Apyatka
Lord, people, let's just not talk about politics. Modern politics is so sick and so full of blood and shit that the less we talk about it, the less it stinks.
аватар Pachok
edels, go, you will like it.
Tickets to the Crimea from Russia are NOT difficult to get, just the opposite - I don’t want to take them. This is easy to verify by opening any site selling tickets. It is "difficult to get" those ball tickets about which they said that all tickets would cost so much. And they are just very few. The Russians go, write laudatory reviews, the essence of which is that prices have fallen, there are few people, locals are fighting for tourists. So, I repeat - if you are from Russia with Russian citizenship - you can safely go, you will like it. I advise Ukrainians to put a fat cross on Crimea for the coming years and, finally, discover the rest of the world (for those who have not done this yet), after which they will not even think about returning to the soviet, and now also Putin’s Crimea.
аватар Pachok
Apyatka, tourism in Crimea is inseparable from politics.
аватар edels
Pachok, now it has become easier with goodwill with tickets from Moscow. From other cities, people run for tickets. The excitement is very high. I'll go for company. I don't think Crimea is closed to Ukrainians...
аватар edels
Prices have not fallen ... they have always been "sovdepovskim" in Ukraine, as well as service.

Who knows, please tell me about Koreiz...? how far to the sea? Can't choose Alupka or Koreiz better?
