Room: two-room suite with a large balcony - exit from both rooms - overlooking the sea. In one room - a TV, 2 armchairs, a coffee table, a sofa (when unfolded, there was a very significant hole in the upholstery), a chair, a refrigerator, an ironing board, an iron, an electric kettle, a set of dishes.
In the second room there are 2 beds (with new mattresses, pillows, blankets and new bedding sets, 3 sets of towels - large for the body (or beach), for the face, for the legs), air conditioning, wardrobe (capacious enough), dressing table, air conditioning ( growled a lot). The bathroom is combined with a toilet, hot water is constant, the bathroom is large, with a shower, a washbasin, a mirror, a toilet bowl - everything is clean. The only thing that spoiled the impression was mold in the seams between the tiles. For luxury - a significant drawback. Also, the bathroom was not locked from the inside.
In the hallway - a mirror and furniture - standard.
Cleaning in the room daily, but the dust on the furniture (below and above eye level was still).
Renovation: updated furniture, repairs were made, but the carpentry did not change, which spoiled the impression very much. Curtains, paintings, chandeliers - nice to see. The carpet is, of course, stained.
But in general, the impression of the room is not bad: light, clean, comfortable, the air is fresh.
The view from the balcony is a stunning view of the sea, in front of us is a cedar, behind it is the sea, the air is clean. Only for this we are ready to go again))) On the balcony there are 2 plastic chairs, a table, a towel dryer. But we replaced the plastic chairs with those that were in the room - we enjoyed the view with comfort).
Beach: there are 1000 steps to it... That says it all))) The first time we hardly found our way to the beach, there are not enough signs. The path runs through the Livadia Palace. It took 20 minutes to get to the beach. As a walk - just amazing (at the same time, my legs let us down), a walk through a coniferous forest. It’s a bit far to go to the elevators, and besides, it’s expensive, 1 lift on the elevator is 3 hryvnias, lifts are 3, i. e. per person - 9 hryvnia one way. Pensioners are taken free of charge by minibus (clearly on schedule), if they didn’t have time, they were late, everyone is brought from the beach by minibus, in turn. Walking up is much more difficult than going down - I do not advise)
The beach is clean, there is a bar, toilets, the beach is closed (according to the Sanitary Books), a common canopy and terrible wooden sunbeds, pretty battered by time. The sea is clean. In general, the impression of the beach is good.
Meals: we ate in the dining room with a customized menu (suites and junior suites) - a TV room, air conditioning, light and clean. The waiters. . . in general, the service is 3 points. After talking with some waiters, there was a feeling that we were annoying them with our presence. If, God forbid, you come 15 minutes before the end of feeding - under a closer look there is a chance to turn into a pile of ashes)))
Weird drink situation. Boiling water is served in a teapot, sometimes you had to beg for boiling water on neighboring tables. The menu was annoying - ordering a few days in advance, you need to put a tick in the leaflet with the name of the dishes (a peasant was "settled" at the table for a couple of days - we had a confusion with the dishes). Upon arrival, for several days you eat "what God sends" - a regular dish, as the menu is ordered several days in advance. In general, the portions are small, there is very little meat (men complained), but for women - just right. There are 3 dishes on the menu, so you are unlikely to leave hungry, = take cookies, juices, fruits with you. In general, food for four.
On the territory there is a cafe with barbecue, etc.
Territory: pleasantly pleased. Beautiful, clean, green, flowers, palm trees, benches, swings, fitness equipment on the territory and in the hall, billiards, tennis, chess, cinema, discos. In the medical building they serve until 13.00, there are queues for doctors. Therefore, they did not use the services of the medical base - either the beach or treatment. The beach won
Almost daily we went for a walk to Yalta, the minibus stops right under the gates of the sanatorium - 5 hryvnia per person, or not far from the Livadia Palace (along a different route). The main thing is to be in time for dinner (from 19.00 to 20.00).
In general, we liked the rest. For the family, it's the best. But, in my opinion, for such a service - too expensive. If I can't find anything better for the same money, this year we'll go to the Border Guard again.
P. S. WI-FI catches only at the reception...
1. In the contract (voucher), be sure to specify the settlement building, floor. Do not buy the third building - cold, dark, gloomy rooms, noise from the road, you will not fall asleep during the day with open windows. In the standard, the bathroom is covered in mold. There are big problems with the kettle. The price is the same as the first case.
2. Do not travel here with small children (with preschoolers). An hour walk to the sea with a 4-year-old child.
3. In all other respects, the quality corresponds to a relatively low price.
I liked the sanatorium, the territory is carefully monitored, it is swept and cleaned every morning, there is a small sports ground, a cafe. Meals - quite acceptable, dietary, according to a custom system. The waitresses are lovely girls, they try to serve, they do everything very quickly. we dined in the dining room on the 2nd floor, it is light and spacious. there is air conditioning.
Our room was in the old building, cozy room, 1st floor. the only thing is that noise from the highway is heard at night, tk. she walks very close. but when he walks during the day, he does not particularly bother.
the sea is 800 m from the resort. there are free shuttles. and walking is very pleasant, near the park of the Livadia Palace, where the well-known health paths originate - the Tsar's path and the Sun.
The air and nature in the Crimea are special, you should go there to relax and see everything with your own eyes. And where to stay - in the private sector or a sanatorium, you decide. The border guard - fully corresponds to its price, a good place for a family holiday. If you are not afraid to walk and walk a lot : ) by minibus to Yalta for about 15 minutes, to the very village of Livadia, a stone's throw, a quiet, peaceful place. Be sure to go to the Organ Hall - well-known musicians give one and a half hour concerts there.
The territory of the sanatorium is tidy, clean, I would even say beautiful! !!
We lived in the 1st building, 2nd floor (junior suite). The room is normal, cozy, almost all the furniture is new. Cleaned (garbage) every day, bed 1 time. The balcony is large, with a beautiful sea view (in the 1st building all rooms with sea views, except for tree branches on the lower floors can be covered).
in the 3rd building a completely different situation, no kind, the rooms are modest.
The dining room menu is custom-made, different. The dishes are delicious and small. The men complained that they didn't get enough ...we were in our own car, so we bought three times at the Buffet, so we escaped malnutrition. rations are not issued! frequent situation you come, say what you ordered no and bring something else! ! ! another situation - in 5 minutes, you see, carry to someone those which, according to the waitress, aren't present)
They never got to the medical building. reasons:
-From 8 to 2 years. working hours. not convenient! ! ! ! ! from 9 breakfast, and then you choose to go to the beach or for treatments. we chose the beach because there was half an hour to go there (took 1 minibus from the sanatorium only those who have a doctor's certificate of weakness, others on foot or (rarely) by elevator.
Minibuses were taken from the beach for everyone (only to the place where the elevators start, ie to the sanatorium at least another 200 meters) from 12 to 2 years.
- when my husband still gathered in the medical building, they said in a brazen tone, and where were you the first week? ! ! ! ! (and who is it before, where were we and what is the difference !!? )
And yet, the vouchers were for 2 people, we took a child with us (age: almost 3 years). If necessary, they wanted to pay, they even had honey with them. certificate and birth certificate! When we were given sanatorium books to the administrator. building, we reported it and we were not told to pay (we did not need an extra bed or baby food).
But when we just went into the building to settle, the janitor (I do not know her position, she is sitting at the entrance) shouted that a child under 3 years old can not, you have to pay and how we missed the child! ! ! ! ! the strange situation of the caretaker addresses the vacationers in such a tone! ! ! (
Beach: narrow, like all of Yalta, because we do not forget about the mountains! ! ! so you have to go there in the morning, at 5 o'clock in the evening the sun is almost gone! ! ! Thai beach is only open for up to 7 years. so those who want evening walks along the coast can say no! ! ! ! ! all beaches are fenced! !!
Unfortunately, the road to the beach is long and very difficult with a child, no matter what you say!
People who came to the sanatorium in their own car, do not be surprised by the situation when you are rude from the toilet to the director. the parking lot is occupied, all possible and impossible places are occupied ...and it remains to put the car near the body! on what to you in a rough tone declare to take away a car.
you say well, but where to put, there is no place in the parking lot, and the ticket says free parking? they say: "wherever you want, go at least to Livadia, these are your problems. " Again, an interesting situation that shows the attitude to vacationers ...
One more caveat! ! ! even if you are very hungry, never order food in the cafe, which is located at the end of the first building! ! ! ! ! I will not write details, but unsanitary conditions will kill you!
Tips Where to go! ! ! !!
1. Ai-Petri. do not buy wines from locals, they are not natural, you are fooled! !!
2. Yalta Zoo (the best zoo in Ukraine, I was pleasantly surprised! Count at least 3 hours. Go from Livadia 15 minutes. ) And in the aquarium and the Glade of fairy tales, do not go, stupid waste of money (this is purely my opinion). beautiful aquarium in Alushta! !!
3. Yalta embankment. Take a boat ride along the shore! ! ! there you can also look at the swallow's nest.
4.
Nikita Botanical Garden for plant lovers))) in general I was more impressed by Uman Sofiyivka, but that's another story))
5. Dolphinarium, giving a lot of positive, the child was infinitely happy! !!
this is where I personally was!
PS impressions of the Crimea are excellent. we wish only the best service and attitude to people! ! ! I am adding a photo! ! !
