We rested in the Nizhny Miskhor LOTS for 2 weeks at the beginning of July 2011.
It consists of 5 buildings: Gloria (in Turpravda it is separated into a separate sanatorium, but in fact it is one of the buildings of the LOC), Naryshkin's Dacha (in which we rested), Magnolia, Lilia and Uyutny. All cases are very good, Gloria is considered cooler and more expensive, but they are all good.
Territory: small, but very beautiful. Lots of shade, benches, a very good playground. There is parking, though paid even for residents (this is a minus). One gate of the LOC leads to a bus stop and leads to the sanatorium "Ai-Petri", the other gates open to Miskhor Park, which more than compensates for the small territory of the LOC. The park is very large and beautiful and overlooks the city beach with the Mermaid, as well as the Miskhor embankment, which, of course, cannot be compared with the Yalta embankment, but which has its own zest. In July, there were artists, and various entertainments for children and adults. In addition, Miskhor has its own pier, from where you can sail to any point of the South Coast on a boat. We swam to Yalta, saw a lot of dolphins in the sea, to Yalta - about 20 minutes - beauty.

Location: across the stop from the Lots – the cable car to Ai-Petr (this year it has again risen in price by 10 hryvnias, now a one-way ride is 60 hryvnias, for two adults back and forth – 240 hryvnias!!! , although children up to 6 years free, our daughter is already 6.5, but so far she has been free); after 3 stops - Alupka park (after dinner we often went for a walk). In the opposite direction, literally after a few stops Swallow's Nest). Near the LOTs (on the territory of Miskhorsky Park, near the entrance to the beach of the Ai-Petri sanatorium) there is another cable car - to a cool hotel on the mountain "Respect Hall" - for me it was extreme - the trailers are not the same as on Ai-Petri (closed and large), and open (without glass) and very small (maximum for two with a child), which you need to jump into on the go. The ascent took 20-30 minutes, a magnificent view, but sooo scary, I would not go a second time. Respect Hall is very high on the mountain, but the most annoying thing is that they are not allowed to enter its territory, and there is nowhere else to go upstairs, there is only this hotel and the highway. Therefore, we climbed up and immediately had to go down. We only went to the admin. hall of this hotel, asked how much a standard room costs - 4100 UAH per day !!!! ! They smiled, said that we would think))))) and left. On the way, though, we found another sanatorium - Belarus (to the beach of which we had passes, more on that below). It is also very high, you can’t reach the sea on foot. A person living in Belarus is taken to the beach by minibuses. The territory of the resort is huge.
Rooms: we lived in the Naryshkin Dacha building in a two-room suite. There are no complaints about the room and cleaning. The ceilings in the room - 3 meters, because of which there is no stuffiness, did not even use air conditioning. The room has a brand new renovation, everything is very clean, wonderful new solid furniture, which consisted of a mass of cabinets, bedside tables and shelves that could not be filled with everything. Since it usually happens the other way around - there is nowhere to put things, this moment pleased. The room has: an electric kettle, a set of dishes from cups, glasses, spoons, forks, knives, plates. Excellent bathroom (shower though a bit narrow and cramped). Towels (of very good quality) were changed every 3 days, we did not have time to soil them. Bedding - once every 7 days.
Of the minuses (well, to find fault, because these are trifles): deluxe rooms usually have disposable shampoos and balms, there were none here. It was the usual toilet soap, and thanks for that. On the downside, there were no insect screens on the windows.
Beach: the price included 2 passes (for adults) to the beach of the Belarus resort, the beach is excellent, consists of three sections with breakwaters. Lots of sun loungers (plastic) both in the shade and on the piers. There is a shower, cafe, clean toilets. The downside is that the cost of our vacation included only passes for adults, we had to pay for the child. The entrance fee to the beach for those without a pass is UAH 25, for a child from 6 years old - UAH 12. As I said, we also spent a child for free as a six-year-old. However, I think this is a minus, you can give passes for everyone.

Near the beach of the sanatorium "Ai-Petri" - this one is even better, but since we were not given passes for it, we went there for a walk in the evening (from 5 o'clock on all sanatorium beaches the entrance becomes free). I have never seen such a large beach as in this resort on the South Coast. Simply chic. Lots of sunbeds and sunbeds too. A huge plus is a great huge playground right on the beach!!! ! For those who do not have passes - the price of the beach is 20 UAH.
Another good beach in Miskhor is the beach of the Miskhor sanatorium (not far from the city's free beaches)
Treatment: In theory, the LOC is a health and wellness center, but there is actually nothing medical and wellness there, except for a small (10 meters long and 2 wide) indoor pool (in the same Gloria) and a cave room, well, and all sorts of things there massages, at a sky-high price. We went to the pool 2 times in bad weather, in good weather - it makes no sense to go there, so-so - the water is fresh, unclear. In the cave room were once - did not like it. In general, we went to the Ai-Petri sanatorium for all the procedures, which was 2 steps away (we needed to treat the child): there is really a medical base, and the pool is better, and the cave room is much better, the masseurs are very good, there are a lot of them and a good massage and a lot of different ENT procedures and not only.
Meals: not included in the price, however, there was also a cafe on the territory (130 UAH three meals a day per person), and a restaurant with a buffet (210 UAH per person).
We ate in a cafe, a customized menu (today you choose from two sets of dishes for tomorrow), meals on a solid 4. To be honest, in the first days they would even put 5, but then it seems to become boring (as is often the case when you eat for a long time in one place) , so four, but solid. I liked the fact that the food is varied: salads, appetizers, main course, fruit, dessert. The portions are not small, everyone was full. Of the pluses, it was also possible not to pay for lunch or dinner if we planned to leave for the day. It was only necessary to warn in advance.
Pros: all of the above;
the Nizhny Miskhor LOC has a website with very good photos and a description of the number, the Gloria building has its own website.
Cons: paid parking (the price for rooms is not small, so they could not take money for parking); no access to the beach for children.
