We rested in August 2008. From what is offered in Koktebel, if you want close to the sea, perhaps the best option. Polite staff, a decent restaurant at the hotel, a good private beach and a dive club, soundproofing of the rooms (believe me, this is important in Koktebel if you are used to sleeping at night). Did not like:
1. small area
2. no pool
3. weak breakfast at the hotel
4. very noisy outside the room (until late at night, nearby discos are knocked down with reproducible decibels)
5. lack of an alternative to the hotel restaurant (expensive) in the city itself (tried in different places - never returned anywhere again).
