Not a fan of writing reviews, but in this case I want to share my impressions of staying in this cottage village, because. There are a lot of scary stories about Crimea on the Internet now.
So, the biggest inconvenience is, of course, how to get there.
However, for those who know how to search for information on Google, it is easier than for others. On the website page of this cottage village there is detailed information on the most comfortable way to get there. This is what helped me choose the best option and I did not have to queue at the crossing (about 10-12 hours). Buses run without a queue.
Well, about the hotel itself and its rooms.
I read the previous review and compared with what it was.
There are both improvements and disadvantages.
The toilet paper mentioned in the previous review is now white and soft : ) This suggests that the owners are listening to the reviews.

Apparently. I was the first this season, because when I turned on the fuses on the electrical panel and opened the water taps on the riser. However, the room was all prepared, clean and tidy.
The room has everything you need to cook something for yourself. This is very handy, considering my budget vacation option. Eating in a cafe is still quite expensive.
The room I stayed in is called "Japan". And it is actually decorated in Japanese style. Apparently - a design project. Stylish, Japanese restrained and strict. But nevertheless comfortable.
There is air conditioning, which is a must in the summer heat. Refrigerator, satellite TV, toilet and shower with hot and cold water all the time - these are now "standard options" everywhere.
Nowadays, the Internet via WI-FI should also be a standard default option. However, it is not yet available in the room itself. I know it's being worked on, but when I was there, I had to go to one of the many cafes that had free Wi-Fi. The speed, of course, is not high, but, as they say, "how rich"...
Overall impression of the room: excellent. Everything is thought out, convenient and comfortable, there is everything you need and even a little more. If there was Internet, it would be a rating of 10.
And during my stay the pool was under maintenance. It was cleaned (or repaired something), but it did not work. But this is a temporary matter, I think that probably it has already been put into operation during this time.
From my general impressions of Koktebel, I can say the following: there are fewer people so far than last year. Perhaps the bulk will go later, but for me it was only at hand: there is no crowd on the beaches and you could safely take the best place. There are also no long queues in the cafe (I can't stand them). Yes, and sellers and taxi drivers are more accommodating and you can bring down prices a little : )
In the village itself, everything is calm, patrols are on duty on the embankment, The guys are friendly and welcoming, they exchanged a couple of phrases. Photographed reluctantly (probably out of modesty)
Families with kids walk and enjoy the summer, so you can safely go.

Of the cars, mostly cars with Crimean numbers. Many Russian numbers (with different geography) I also saw a few cars of my countrymen from Belarus. We talked, it turned out that from Gomel, for many years in a row the whole family has been going to Koktebel. We decided not to change this tradition this season. In general, they are also satisfied. Noted. that this year there are fewer people and prices are higher. But the service sector has become more welcoming : )
In a word, now is the most favorable time to relax in Koktebel : )
Recommend! Satisfied with the hotel!
