I'll tell you about Fort Knox in order. Quite at random, we pointed at the Fort Knox Hotel, called them on the phone, booked 2 rooms, one for me and my wife, the other for the children. Made an advance payment by Western at times. $200. The time has come and we went to Feodosia. We arrived at the Feodosia bus station, called the hotel, asked to meet us (this was previously agreed with them). Two taxi cars arrived (although they had to wait 30 minutes) under the scorching sun. The taxi took us to the hotel, a hotel worker (working at the reception desk) came out to meet us, he paid the taxi, we began to check into the rooms. This is where the first surprises began. A person from the reception named Peter, having calculated the cost of our stay for 2 weeks, rolled out to us an amount exceeding the previously agreed one. It turns out that we made an advance payment, he doesn’t know a thing or two, only their director deals with financial issues. I had to wait until he and the director by phone found out if there was an advance payment from us, then they demanded from us the stubs of the receipts for the advance payment, which we prudently took with us. Having finally figured out all the nuances, we were taken to the rooms. Our room with my wife was on the 2nd floor, right end of the hotel), overlooking the city beach. Several surprises awaited us in the room, the room lighting was very dim, you can see that the guys save a lot of electricity, the safe did not work - there were no batteries, there were a lot of mosquitoes in the bathroom that swarm there day and night. Cleaning in the room is also only on request, besides not every day, the cleaning itself left much to be desired. Most of all I was struck by the dining room, namely the diet and the waitresses. For breakfast they gave scrambled eggs, can you imagine ? , strictly 2 slices of bread per person, you ask for more bread - they brought it, but with great displeasure. Hotel waitresses are a separate story altogether, I haven’t seen such slow, sleepy flies anywhere else, where did they just find them? These are young girls, 17-20 years old, who do not understand anything in this matter, do not know the elementary rules. We had to wait 40 minutes for them to set the table! Repeatedly they were made remarks - it's useless, like peas against a wall, they are on their own wave, sitting at the bar, whispering and giggling about something, a nightmare. The beach of the hotel is separate, on both sides it is fenced with a canvas fence, but people are constantly scurrying back and forth through our beach, so look so that nothing is stolen. Also on the beach of the hotel, riding on a jet ski, a banana, a tablet is arranged, almost a motorcycle constantly rides over the heads, from which a young boy yells at vacationers to give way to him, Not nice. Since the rental is located on the hotel's beach, noisy companies who want to ride the rides are constantly coming up, not always in a sober state, having enjoyed enough, they do not leave, settling next to the hotel guests on free sun loungers. The most amazing thing is that the hotel workers do not drive them away from there, I myself told them about this more than once, they smile and laugh it off, they interfere with you nicely - and you are engaged in their expulsion. A separate conversation about the hotel security system. I, as a law enforcement officer, can reliably tell you that there is no security there. The person sitting at the reception desk - he is also a security guard of the hotel, he takes over the shift alone, alone, which causes concern. Let's go back to the number. Near the hotel at a distance of 10 meters there is a railway on which trains run around the clock, the rumble of wheels is constantly heard in the room. From the end of the building across the beach there is a nightclub, from which you can hear loud music all night, you can’t sleep with an open balcony, but from a closed one too, you can still hear the music, moreover, young couples who apparently met in the club come to make love right under balcony, and if someone is interested can watch this process right from the balcony, voluptuous moans can be heard all night. It stinks of urine from the street day and night, people relieve themselves without any hesitation, as in Delhi, of course, there is not enough culture of behavior. I liked Feodosia itself, with a camera I went along and across it, there is something to see and photograph, next to the hotel there is the Stamboli Dacha, a beautiful place, though occupied by a private restaurant. This is how the 2 weeks went by. In Feodosia, by the way, it is difficult to buy a train. e. ticket, on the railway the railway station managed to do this only after 4 attempts, then their ticket office is closed, then there is no connection, in the city there are representative offices. cash desk - no. Separately, I would like to write about the director of the hotel. This guy himself is from Donetsk, most likely one of those who survived the dashing 90s. For days on end I drove along the beach on a jet ski, and didn’t bother much about anything, the concept of the hotel business for this subject is extremely remote and mundane. Like this. In general, they can put a stretched C grade for the rest, although I repeat with a big stretch, although in terms of money for four of us it cost about 100 thousand rubles. For this money, we could have been taken care of much better.
