Dear vacationers! I hasten to warn you against a terrible "rest" in the boarding house "Northern Dvina" !!!
I'll start from the very beginning. Traveled with my husband and child (1 year 10 months). The room is just a nightmare, they gave us on the 3rd floor in the 2nd building (opposite the dining room). The view from the room is very nice, sea and mountains. The food is normal, although children under 4-5 years old have nothing to do there : ( My son did not eat anything at all in the dining room!
The beach is large, but in order to sunbathe near the water, and not near the entrance to the beach, you had to come by 6.30-07.00 in the morning, if later - it doesn’t make much sense! Sun beds are paid - 10 UAH ($ 2) per day. EVERYONE is allowed on the beach, for all the same 2 raccoons : (. Vacationers of the boarding house simply have nowhere to go... while they are having breakfast, the beach is filled with strangers and there are no places! The sea and the beach are clean, I watched it being cleaned every morning. Twice a week discos were held on the territory of the boarding house where the music yelled SO that the child could not sleep for half the night.
And now I'll tell you about the most disgusting! With us (10 days, from July 12 to July 22) three rooms were robbed! AND THIS IS ONLY IN OUR BUILDING AND ON OUR FLOOR!! ! We were robbed of more than $ 1000! They stole equipment, mobile and money, and all this with my husband and son in the room! They were sleeping. . . I can't even remember calmly, everything inside starts to shrink.
The police said that 100% it was done by the staff, BUT there is no evidence : ( Naturally, no one helped us in any way. However, after what happened, we stopped leaving the key at the reception (it’s funny to call it that, more like a janitor).
In short, with whom we did not communicate there, almost no one liked it! Don't think I'm being picky. . . no! It's just that it will be much cheaper and more comfortable for you to find another boarding house or sanatorium! In extreme cases, you can rent housing from private owners (I regret that they didn’t)!
And what's more, the room is constantly stuffy! It is simply impossible to ventilate, because from the embankment (80-100 meters straight to it) the music of night discos rumbles until 3-4 in the morning, the whole family had to sleep on the beach, which is not convenient (
Although there are 3 beaches, only 1 is really normal - average. At the very first, it’s not pebbles, but red slag gravel, and quite large and sharp (((and it’s very difficult to go into the sea barefoot... the whole coast is covered in stones
The area is pleasing to the eye! Very beautiful, a lot of squirrels - almost tame! The children were delighted)))
Of all the above, I still found pluses: the sanatorium has gorgeous vegetation, the sea is incomparable (but this is already a merit of nature itself)
