August 2011. Traveled alone with my granddaughter.
First, a low bow to the girls from the booking department: Yulia and Pavlina. Thanks girls, you did a great job! Since I contacted the boarding house directly, without intermediaries, I was very worried before the trip that I could not pay for the chosen room in advance, because You can’t send hryvnia from Russia, and they didn’t have a foreign currency account. Met, settled without problems. Rested wonderfully.
1. Location is great. We lived in building 2, on the top 3rd floor. This building is for budget holidays, students and other non-rich people. The rooms have beds, a wardrobe and a washbasin. Toilet on the floor, shower - on the 1st floor. Per person - 190 UAH. (approximately 700 rubles) It used to be that students of different sexes cheerfully stormed each other's doors, but this did not bother, but only caused a smile. There are cases "solid-her" and more expensive.

At the ends of this building on each floor there are deluxe rooms and, for some reason, they are very cheap. That's where we lived. Two rooms. In the first room we had: a third bed (or sofa? ), TV, refrigerator, some bedside tables, ottomans. (There I had a kids club during the rain, and the first half of the two weeks there were thunderstorms in the afternoon). View from the window to the seaport and Kastel. In the second room: two beds (not hard! ), a dressing table, a nightstand, an ottoman and a door to a quite decent bathroom. Shower. cabin, good pot, all in bright colors. And these tricky numbers cost only 240 UAH. per person (with 3 meals) or 870 rubles. For comparison: in the 3rd building (it is higher, closer to the railway ticket office) the price is the same, the room without a balcony. In the other, 5th building, the price is 280 UAH. and above, the same as in the 3rd, only with a balcony. 6th building (9-storey) - was closed for repairs.
Cleaned up every day.
The territory is large, green.
2. Nutrition. Quite! Everything is always fresh. Considering that only 60 UAH falls on him, I wonder how they manage to work without a loss. In the morning, porridge (the granddaughter always made it with pleasure) and the second, at lunch - the standard: salad, first, second, third, some fruit, at dinner - the second, salad, delicious pastries. Perhaps the men didn’t eat enough, but once in the evening my granddaughter knocked me out for pizza, so a small one costs 35 UAH. - half the daily ration!
3. Beach. We absolutely did not notice the road to it, and I dreamed about the beach in the Working Corner, although I would not want to live there. The water was clear and the bottom acceptable, you just need to first be careful and familiarize yourself with the approaches. Never hurt my legs.
4. And finally, the main thing. View from the balcony! Sea! Below is an ocean of greenery in different shades. The mountains! It was too good.
5. Hot water. Water was given with reference to breakfast, lunch and dinner, and it was much longer than the declared 2-3 hours. And those who lived closer to the boiler (such as the 3rd building), those almost constantly.
The minus (but this is not Dvina's fault) is the cacophony from the embankment at night, but I was mentally prepared for this and did not get angry. (Once I was in Turkey, so I had a car track under my balcony, where cars roared and squealed all night, and at 5 in the morning the muezzin began to yell through powerful speakers, even earplugs in my ears did not save). Inevitable retribution for proximity to the sea. There is a way out - to settle on the side that faces the street on April 15, it was quiet there. Or somewhere to the mountains, to the outskirts. But then - no relaxation in the form of a sunny path to the sea during the day and a moonlit path at night.
In total, a ticket for two for 14 days cost only 24.5 thousand rubles, what is it!?

The weather was good, there was no heat, the water was at first 25, then 23-24 degrees. Long live the Northern Dvina! She, poor thing, was scolded all over in the reviews, but she came to my heart very much. However, there are enough pompous narrow-minded people, whiners and pessimists everywhere and there is no need to go to the Crimea. I watched this audience, always in the dining room there was a bunch of the same people with pre-dissatisfied faces and pursed lips, biased and unfriendly studying the menu. And what to study it! ? You try to soak for 60 hryvnia three times a day, I beg you! The dining room, by the way, is clean and tidy, no sparrows (this is from the June review, sparrows, you see, they flew), efficient waitress girls quickly set the tables.
It’s a pity, they say that these old buildings will be demolished, new ones will be built, I would still go at that price.
The staff is very friendly, and in general, you yourself need to smile more often. If you want euros and a buffet - look not for 870 rubles. per day, and starting from 2.5 thousand rubles. and higher!
