How are you now? Terrible to drive...
Have been to you several times in recent years, but now, you understand. Are there guests from Ukraine? How to pay? In rubles?

It's creepy to go to Ukraine, but in the Crimea, something terrible can be)))

In Crimea, over the past 23 years, it doesn’t get any better. In Ukraine, we don’t know. You can pay in rubles. Shops are already accepting.

I'm only interested in Alupka. You don't need too much. I know better what and how in Ukraine. I don't know how safe it is to get from Kyiv or Donetsk to Simferopol and from there to Alupka. Are there live examples? Do buses still run or do you need to take a taxi and how much will it cost now. Thank you.

Is the hryvnia still accepted? Do I need to carry cash or can I withdraw from an ATM?

I wouldn't take risks if I were you this year, while everything is very unstable and you don't know what to expect.

law555, my sister is now in the Crimea. True, they left Kyiv on April 29th. Due to two customs (1 hour in Melitopol and more than 2 hours in Dzhankoy), the train arrived in Simferopol 4 hours late. In Dzhankoy, they filled out a migration card.
In Simferopol, the shops paid hryvnia.
Yesterday they arrived by regular bus to Yalta. There are many vacationers - she said: "Not as many as in summer, but enough."
To go to you or not at the moment - hardly anyone will give you an unambiguous answer.

It is dangerous to go to Slavyansk, but everything is fine in the Crimea. Listen / read less corrupt media.

We have been vacationing in Alupka for 5 years in a row. Housing was rented from the same woman (the accountant of Krymkurortservis). We called up recently, we keep in touch (although we decided for ourselves that we won’t go to Crimea for the first time this year). There are very few tourists at this time (in past years there were many times more). From Ukraine, even less. And those who are, the East of Ukraine mainly (Donetsk, Zaporozhye). Well, to go or not, decide for yourself. My husband recently returned from Sevastopol (he had a working trip). Since I was there for work, everything is more or less in Sevastopol. But the road - as described already above - the train now arrives 4 hours later (from all directions) and this is already indicated in the schedule - the route has been changed a little. At the border zone, you fill out not only the migration card. but some border guards are very meticulous (to put it mildly) considering citizens with Ukrainian passports. Well, as for prices, today I corresponded with a friend from Simferopol: since yesterday in Simferopol they began to turn off electricity and water as planned. And I’ll just quote it myself: “prices in stores have soared by more than 50%, I’m silent about pharmacies, there is uncontrolled price growth, workers have already stopped even putting up price tags”

And as for the hryvnia, it is accepted, on a par with rubles. But you probably know that you won’t withdraw from ATMs on the peninsula, because. Ukrainian banks gradually stop working on the peninsula. The bank "Delta Bank" and "Laguna" is still working. Gone are Privat, Alfa Bank, VAB, Imeksbank, Kievan Rus, the Ukrainian branch of Russian Standard and the Ukrainian branch of Sberbank (that is, the last 2 - only Russian branches work). Bank transfer is not accepted in hotels.

I live in the border town of Crimea. Everything is calm in Crimea. If you eat without weapons, then you are not afraid of the border. Cash settlements in hryvnias and rubles.

Light, water, gas - in the Crimea there is around the clock.

I have been in Royalt for several years in a row - a wonderful place! But this year we will definitely not go: both scary and unpatriotic.
