Most of all I liked the clear sea. nice weather and prices in saigon - they are just ridiculous! 100 UAH for such a great room and 80 UAH for an economy class room and the price, as they said until the end of the season, we are with you! We rest in the Iron Port several times every year and naturally visited different boarding houses, cottages, hotels, etc. But last year, having visited Saigon, we decided that we would stop exclusively there. The rooms are large, clean and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is a market nearby which is very convenient.

1.23. 08.08. In the photo of the boarding house - nothing like that. According to the description - and the water there is always hot, and air conditioners. And the cost is ok. We arrived at night. We were warmly welcomed. Settled. We had a dry supper. In the morning we decided to eat at a nearby cafe. It seems to be nothing. But... The boarding house has absolutely no territory. Imagine a picture - a garbage dump, and on it a nice building. By the way, all private new boarding houses or hotels look approximately the same. By the way, the furnishings in the rooms are original - there are no chairs. There are no hooks, no shelves. You go to the shower with a towel - you need to hold it in your hands or in your teeth. But there is air conditioning and a boiler. You will have fresh air and hot water. From the boarding house to the sea - 100 meters along a dusty garbage trail. Already there it is necessary to wear a gas mask. Everything around is littered with stinking garbage. On the beach - it is difficult to find a place for yourself. And a lot of people, and dirty. Hopefully they'll remove it tomorrow. But. . . they won't. Tomorrow will only get worse. Garbage, trash, unsanitary. The sea is good there. The sand is white. If you approach it wisely, you can make candy. Where exactly. Yes, and the people around are appropriate. They crap, they crap and they crap. Here it is - Motherland. It's a shame.
2.24. 08.08. There were some power outages at the boarding house. I think that the guys saved a lot on everything. Within an hour, the electricity will be turned off ten times, turned on ten times. But there is no electricity - the pump does not work - there is no water, the air conditioner does not work. After lunch, the equipment could not stand it - one air conditioner caught fire. The fire was extinguished, the building was de-energized. They came from the sea - you can’t wash. Evening is coming. It is urgent to collect things, because. it's getting dark, tomorrow the departure is at 6-00, but they didn't take candles and lanterns with them. In vain, of course. For the future, we will know what to take with us. By 23-00 they gave light. Water - no. At 24-00 the electricity went out.
3.25. 08.08. We wake up in the morning - there is water. But it would be better if she didn't. I do not know what repairs were carried out with the wiring after the fire, but we felt the consequences on ourselves in the form of an electric shock. This is when you open the tap with water and you are sausage for a long time. Thank you for not killing on the spot. And in the evening they did not wash off the sea salt. They didn't brush their teeth. Sad. The representative of the Golden Fleece travel company promised to provide us with dry rations by 6:00. The one where there... In the morning, not a single employee, not a single representative of the travel agency was found in the boarding house. Zhulka saw us off - a local dog, kind and cute. In short, he took full responsibility. At least someone had to say "thank you".
4. Conclusion. If fate has thrown you into such places as the Iron Port, settle in normal Soviet-style boarding houses, such as Volna, Surf. There and the territory, and food, and the likeness of their own beach, and one and a half times cheaper. Well, no air conditioning. So it won't light up. Well, there is no boiler, hot water from 18-00 to 23-00. So the current does not gouge. You will be more whole.

What we liked:
- The price is acceptable, compared to other boarding houses and recreation centers, I would even say one of the lowest.
- The staff is friendly and helpful.
- Meals are not included in the price, but not far (50-70 meters) from the boarding house there is a market, there is a small cafe in it, they cook delicious food there, the portions are large and quite inexpensive.
- The rooms are very comfortable and bright. Good repair, beautiful new furniture. The room has a bedside table, wardrobe, beds, table, TV, refrigerator, air conditioning, a bathroom with a boiler and hot water, a balcony.
-To the sea is very close, walk 3-4 minutes (100 meters).
-The beach is not bad, the sea is clean (more or less), there are umbrellas, sunbeds.
What did not like:
- The area around the boarding house! Everything is cemented, there is little vegetation, no benches, gazebos....
-There are no hooks in the room (we bought them ourselves with Velcro, glued them in the shower, so that at least there was somewhere to hang a towel)
-There are often problems with water, that is, hot, then not, then the pressure is so small that it is almost impossible to wash.
- The road to the sea is very dirty, dusty, a lot of garbage. . .
In general, "Saigon" liked more than not. Maybe a lot has changed in 2 years, maybe not. We plan to go there again this or next year!
