Odessa impressions.
The last time we were in Odessa at sea was 6 years ago. . . During this time, our experience of beach tourism was replenished with 2 trips to Turkey and one to Egypt.
Naturally, all impressions passed through a kind of prism - a comparison of prices and quality there and with us.
The sea was warm (24 degrees) and quite clean (for Odessa), at least on "our" favorite beach (Gorky's sanatorium, 15th station B Fontana). There were also very few people there. There were sun loungers - with the whole set (like 70g), but we were content with bedding on the sand (we missed the normal sand after Kemerovo). The beach is quite clean, there was no rubbish. There were cigarette butts in the sand, but there seemed to be fewer than before.

For the first time in my life, I saw "smoking" near the 411th Batteries - tin! Two-story barn for 3 people - 400g per day! Really right next to the sea. But I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. But there are people, and judging by the dialect from Russia as well. I do not understand. . .
Ate in good places, though not near the sea. 400gr for a family of 3 for lunch or dinner approx. The three of us sit down to drink coffee or some water - about 100g, if you take one more dessert.
Everywhere we went by taxi - 30-50gr, on call (taxi Platan).
The general impression of the beach area is that there is no integrated approach (as it never was). If investors have made a piece of the embankment - like a new site near the dolphinarium, then it's not bad, but if not, then it's not very beautiful.
For the first time we got to the section of the Health Route from Otrada beach to the Chkalov sanatorium - we liked it. The road itself is so-so, but the vegetation is abundant and quite beautiful.
In general, if you just go to the beach, Odessa IMHO will cost the same as Turkey (even taking into account air travel), with much worse service, more risky weather and water temperature.
But in Odessa there is a cultural program, an order of magnitude higher quality than Turkish programs like "Mr. Hotel")))).
We didn't go to clubs. They visited theaters. There have been more of them lately.
I highly recommend visiting the Opera House. It has finally been refurbished and looks great. How soon the gilding will peel off, no one knows. But in our country for some reason (the climate is something like this)))), I think that it is worth hurrying with a visit to the pearl of Odessa.
