This time there were three days off in May, and without hesitation we decided to rent an apartment on booking and go to Odessa. Why an apartment? I am a big freeze, and I decided that it would be cold in holiday homes, and hotels do not have kitchens to cook. The apartment was chosen for 1000 hryvnia for two nights (28 Glushko St. ). We arrived, went in, inside. . . There is no water (they promised to turn it on in the evening), but the worst thing is that the apartment is completely smoky, as if 10 men were smoking there without going out to the balcony. But the price was budgetary, and I tried to convince myself to stay... But after thinking for 10 minutes, they called the hostess and asked to be evicted. It is unrealistic to be there with two children, sticky floors, stink, homeless blankets... I went to booking, booked the Green Campus, the price for a room for four is 1500, including parking. Clean, nice staff, nice yard, there is a place for children to walk. White linens and towels. Of the minuses, as for me - very cold. The floors are terribly cold, we walk without waking up. In the room, the air conditioner did not blow heat, they moved to another one, it seems to be blowing warm, but the room is still a dubar. There is a kitchen, but no pots, pans, etc.
The city itself is beautiful, it is colorful enough that you fall in love with it right away. Privoz Market, Arcadia, Potemkin Stairs, Opera Theatre. There is something to see in Odessa. Old courtyards and crazy new buildings. We walked along the path of health and breathed in the sea air. I really liked that you can drink coffee, overlooking the sea. There are benches, tables and a beautiful view. I really liked the resort area of Arcadia. You feel like you are in a foreign resort. We went to eat at Tarhun khinkalnya, very tasty. They give blankets. Excellent service. I love Georgian cuisine. We ate for 700 UAH (two adults + two children), everything is fresh, the portions are huge. There are attractions for children in Arcadia. Panic room 80 UAH In the same place, on the contrary, there is a drunken cherry liqueur (the same in Bukovel), I took a tincture of 100 g of cherry 42 UAH. It immediately warmed up, both on the street and in the shower))).
In general, I will say this: Odessa is beautiful, it has many faces. On one side there are old courtyards, on the other huge new buildings. On the last day before departure, we decided to go on an excursion "Criminal Odessa", in the footsteps of Sonya the Golden Hand. The price is 700 UAH for four, 250 for adults and 100 for children). I liked it very much, they showed us the poor janitors of Odessa. Moldovanka region. Places where Mishka Yaponchik and Sonya the Golden Handle lived. And also the courtyard where the film "Liquidation" was filmed. The tour was good, the guide told everything in a very interesting way, sometimes there was a shiver on the skin. Recommend.
