Spring weekend for mood, or March 8 in Odessa
– Abram Moiseevich, do you know who these Rosa Luxemburg and Clara Zetkin are?
- I think they did sell flowers.
In the course of a long debate on the issue of canceling - not canceling the holiday "International Women's Day" under the onslaught of all segments of the population, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine still did not survive, and this date remained a red day of the calendar. And therefore, if you want - you don’t want to, but it’s necessary to note, and then Sunday also fell out. So we decided with our women's battalion to make ourselves a festive day off for mood. It is trite to open "Soviet Champagne" at the table according to the tradition, somehow it is not at all comme il faut, it is still cold in the forest, it is somehow not hot at the sea, but what if it is still at the table, but tasting? This is an idea! What does it cost us to build a house : ) Let's go for a tasting! Through simple reshuffles, the choice fell on the Koblevo winery, located on the Tiligul estuary, that is, practically on the sea. Well, here it is the entrance to the "holy of holies", with a monument to the 46th parallel. Why forty-six? And this is the parallel on which the best grape varieties grow for making a divine drink.
An aunt-tour guide meets us (yes, she was unlucky, other aunts arrived and forced them to work on a holiday) and immediately screeches: “Don’t shoot, don’t shoot, akhtung, akhtung! ”. The impression is that we got to a secure facility. Frightened more than the aunt herself, they hid their phones and hands in their pockets. True, I managed to take one picture, I think they won’t get caught if I share it.
This is the fermentation and maternity department, that is, the place where wine is born. Wine, for your information, is not made, and is not even produced, it is born...
Having carefully listened (because the photographic equipment no longer distracted) the whole history of the emergence of this wine-making establishment, I can say a few words. Firstly, I found out where the name Koblevo came from, which somehow I never liked. So, it turns out that it owes its name to the governor of Odessa and the leader of the Kherson nobility, an Englishman by origin Thomas (our Thomas) Koble. For merits in the victory in the war over the Turks, he received 12 acres of the then untouched lands, and then planted all this with vineyards, and the winery appeared here already in the days of the USSR. I won't tell you more, let's go taste.
The tasting room is not very big, but it can accommodate 45 people at the same time. For tasting, 12 product samples were offered, including dry, semi-sweet, sparkling and dessert wines, as well as cognacs.
At first, everyone listened attentively to Auntie, but then they simply forgot about her, no matter how much she banged the ruler on the table, trying to attract our attention, attention dissipated. What I want to say from the main. All the wines that are produced here are ordinary simple wines, that is, without aging in oak barrels. Therefore, for connoisseurs of the drink of the gods, this tasting is not very suitable, but for the mood - just right! The pouring glasses remained in their places completely empty, we managed to drink out the entire contents of the glasses, you can’t say otherwise.
Can you imagine, 12 types of drink - we definitely took 700 grams on the chest, uncontrollable fun began.
And I also forgot to say that an appetizer for wines during the tasting process can only be spicy cheeses, crackers and fried nuts. But after the third shot, our young ladies began to take everything they had out of their torbies - bacon, sausage, chops, meatballs, in general, the aunt-guide almost fainted. In short, having washed down the whole thing with cognac, we decided to go to the sea (as you understand, it was no longer cold for us), before that, having looked into their company store for packing.
To the sea, to the sea!!!
It was stormy, but the champagne needs to be cooled down (remember, it's +5 outside).
Cooled. We drank. They opened a second one. Cooled down. We drank. Happy Holidays!
What else do we need? What do we need? Chocolate!! ! No problem! We are going to Odessa to the chocolate museum, all ladies' whims today must be fulfilled in full.
Odessa was smart, but we were smarter, so we wandered around the streets a little until we found the object we were looking for, despite the fact that it was almost on Deribasovskaya.
The Chocolate Museum looked quite presentable and aroused interest.
True, the guide monotonously and mournfully reprimanded, like a priest on proofreading, memorized psalms, from which I wanted to raise my hands to heaven and pray that she would leave as soon as possible. Having escaped from the boring and insipid young lady, we went to inspect the museum valuables.
All the exhibits in the museum are made by Odessa craftsmen and artists, and there are simply unique specimens. For example, chess pieces representing the Ukrainian and Mongolian army:
Old record:
Opera House:
Animal Farm:
3-D installation (when the backlight is turned on, coffee spills from cups, dolphins dive, and cars leave the garage):
And this is the “plumbing corner”:
We all know that Columbus from America brought cocoa beans to Europe, and a number of compositions are dedicated to this historical event:
The largest exhibit is the original dragon, with which we all re-photographed from different angles:
There are also cartoon characters here:
Carriage for me, carriage!
We were promised a tasting in addition to the tour. The boring young lady appeared again and gave us portions of hot chocolate in a paper cup:
Well, what can I say, Schaub if in Odessa, then "Tyuyuyu". In general, instead of chocolate, some kind of under-dissolved sugar fudge in cocoa. In general, the museum itself is interesting, hot chocolate is not a fountain!
After an unsuccessful tasting, we decided to find a better refectory. Walking down the street, we saw this balcony:
On the rise of patriotism, we decided to support the domestic manufacturer. For this reason, we found a beautiful national Ukrainian restaurant "Kumanets":
Everything was very bright, colorful and delicious! I give advertising:
After the festive dinner, we went for a walk along the Odessa boulevards.
The people had fun, free artists painted everyone in a row, free musicians entertained onlookers to the "seven forty" that sounded from all the speakers, they danced.
- Roza Moiseevna, take my Semyo to the music school, I want him to play the violin.
- Sarochka, but he has no hearing!
– Well, so what, he will play, not listen.
In general, having joined the folk song and dance ensembles, breathed in the sea and fulfilled all the wishes of the workers, we return to the place of registration.
The day off for the mood in Odessa, as well as the holiday of March 8, was a success!
