Back to the 16th century
Guys. . . It's something. . .
I also visited Kamyanets-Podilskyi, the sensations remained unforgettable, despite the short period of time that I spent in this beautiful old city.
We planned a trip with a guy in advance, but nevertheless, we didn’t manage to get a reservation at the hotel Filvarki Center, which was chosen on the Internet, in a month. Still would! One of the most popular and inexpensive hotels in the city. But nevertheless, we found housing no worse - in the very center of the city, opposite the Seven Days Hotel with excellent conditions in the apartment. To the Old Center, without straining us to walk was just nothing - 10-15 minutes.
The city, of course, is primarily interesting for its Old Center, but in the new center we managed to see an awesome amusement park, visited the cool restaurant "Hotei" in the evening (about it a little later), saw several churches, etc.
Of course, no one will argue that the best sights and sights begin with the Novoplanovsky bridge - the one that leads to the Old Center. This bridge offers such natural views that you will not find in any city in Ukraine, IMHO.
The center certainly impressed me, but most of all I liked the cathedral - very beautiful, well-groomed, incredible area around it...
Since we had a map of sights on hand, we saw almost everything - it's worth seeing each of them, if you have time, of course. Each attraction, together with the nature surrounding them, is SOMETHING!
The fortress is inimitable, it feels like you are touching a piece of your ancestors, it's worth it!
Finally, I have a few tips for those who come to Kamenetz for a few days:
1. I advise you to definitely visit the cafe-restaurant "Pid Bramoyu" - very colorfully decorated, incredibly beautifully made tables in the form of houses, there are a few pools with fish and crayfish, but for some reason they are not cooked : (
However, I do not advise you to sit in it more than once - the kitchen is not very good, the service is sooooo slow, and besides, tips are included in the bill!
2. I advise you to eat in small cozy cafes at mini-hotels, for example, "Taras Bulba". It's not far from the Town Hall, they cook fast and tasty there!
3. As for nightlife, then, you know, there are not very many of them in a small town, but there is. One of them is a Japanese and Thai restaurant "Hotei". In addition to the specified cuisine, a hookah will be prepared for you here, and you can also stay at the disco all night. In addition, outside there are cozy booths with soft Turkish-style ottomans, where you can settle down and seem to sit reclining all night long, smoking a hookah and thinking about the eternal....
This city is definitely worth visiting at least once in your life, you will have unforgettable impressions from it.
I wish you a pleasant stay!
