Walk through the old city.
Arriving in Kamenets, of course, I wanted to see the legendary fortress. Inspection of the old city began immediately after the bridge, stopped literally at each building, delving into their history. And if you still go to each temple, the day might not be enough. It all depends on the literacy of the guide and on the desire of the tourists to visit this or that object. We managed to visit where we planned, even more. Architectural monuments, temples, shops, restaurants, cafes, hotels and, of course, the fortress left the impression of a European city. The presence of many educational institutions, order and cleanliness, as well as the presence of tourists speaks of great opportunities and prospects for the development of this settlement. Entrance to the fortress for a nominal fee. Order inside. I love restored monuments. Yes, they require capital investments, but this is our history and it needs to be studied, preserved, known and remembered.
