Reading the reviews before arrival and knowing about the shortcomings, we ordered a suite - this way we managed to avoid many problems with the service.
Even the suite does not have a telephone, no internet, no bathrobes, but a huge bed, a sofa bed, two more sofas, tea tables, a table and chairs on the balcony. Upon arrival we were given an electric kettle and tea, coffee, sugar.
The socket under the ceiling, which you can't even reach, laughed. On the opposite wall there was an air conditioner - there was no place to insert the cord plug (there was no socket nearby), they took an extension cord and a remote control at the reception.
The TV in the room is huge, but the picture is bad - he repaired the cable to the antenna himself. The floor in the suite is laminate, nothing is covered.
The key to the room - a card with a chip - broke in two in the castle, had to pay a fine for damage to hotel property (100 g) and make a duplicate.
The duplicate, by the way, was also over-chipped (this is what we saw), and for this they demanded a fine again when leaving; )
For suites - pool for free! We went for three days. Heated water, clean and transparent to the bottom, constantly filtered, there is a children's section and massage area (though rarely included).
The smell of antiseptics in the pool (not chlorine! ) I consider an advantage. There are many sunbeds by the pools (three pools: large and two smaller). Sunbeds with umbrellas. In some places, the mosaic tile really flies away, but with such a load it is not surprising.
Now about the restaurant:
very beautiful area, hut, sauna, banquet halls, beautiful terraces over the lake - all here under one roof. We enjoyed our lunches on the terrace above the lake. Very nice. We tried Romanian and Moldavian national cuisine. However, not everything was. I recommend ordering a table and food from the menu in advance - otherwise it will be long. (I'll try to throw the hut menu in the applications). I recommend liver - meat in the oven.
I really liked the entertainment complex - bowling and billiards (even gave a few lessons).
In principle, not bad for three stars, but I recommend for 2-3 days.
Sunny Valley. . . 3 Kyivans decided to have a rest here: me, the godmother and the goddaughter of 14 years. Pleasant impressions of the favorable location (near Chernivtsi), charming nature are overshadowed by the "miracles" of the service that prevails here ....someone will see and consider:
1. Immediately upon check-in, it became clear that you need to pay another 150 hryvnia per room (for the third person, because free - children under 5 years). Although when booking a room clearly said. How many of us will be and indicated the age of the child 14 years. After a few minutes of clarification by phone - the price we left the same as when booking - a cottage 650 UAH. 1st floor. As for the room - neat, clean, 1 towel is provided, although usually 2-3 are given in the room and to be on the floor in the bathroom.
The shower cabin - it was necessary to close, with effort, as well as - the door to the balcony - after a few attempts still understood the tactics, lower the handle, pull hard on yourself and then close, otherwise - well, no way. Reception phone - not working, but is there one?
On the positive side: the area is very green, near the restaurant - a lot of small trees, a variety of shrubs and they are well maintained, there are 2 ponds. Our cottage was in a forest area, a squirrel of an amazing almost black color came running every morning, a hedgehog barked in the evening? For the first 2 days I felt dizzy from the unusually ozone-rich air, then got used to it.
2. A full children's institution (there is a sports complex and we had a lot of children from the summer karate camp), the medical center is open only on weekends and holidays (!!! ) And as I understand it - it is difficult to call a medical center, of course a first aid kit.
On the first day (and it turned out to be a day off on August 24) - a little girl, coming down the slide in the pool, injured her leg (the tile peels off in the pool and the child probably fell on a piece of tile). . there were many tears, screams and the whole leg was covered in blood. The doctor from the medical center bandaged his leg. So I thought - and if something like this happens on a "non-working day of the medical center"… of course they have a first aid kit, but I do not know if workers can apply the same tourniquet, stop bleeding properly… I hope that karate children were their doctors….
3. The pool costs UAH 100. / day, towels - 15 UAH. , they must be issued when buying a season ticket to the pool. As it turned out - there are no towels, why - could not explain. From numbers to take towels it is forbidden to take in the pool, on our question how to solve a question - shrugged shoulders.
However, in the end, we became the happy owners of two towels, as we were "kindly" handed a "hostess" of a number of towels ....UAH somehow there was no desire. As for the pond, the reception said that the pond was free, but the next day they took money from us, saying that "the owner is one, but different bosses and we do not belong to the Valley. " A day later it turned out that you need to pay for sunbeds and canopy (information about this was provided, however, because there was no information about paid beach - we thought we were paying for sunbeds and canopy. As it turned out - the area with sunbeds and canopy is rented, there chief and therefore a fee separately for the beach and separate sunbeds.
But the payment is worth it - the area is well-groomed, tidy, tidy.
The pond smells like a pond, living water, herons were observed there, even white ones flew in, ducks and waterfowl are there. If there are more people, there is entertainment for children: diving on buns. At our request, the tenant of the deckchairs kindly bought us plums and apples in Chernivtsi.
In winter, as for me, there are not bad descents for beginners, the slides are not steep, but quite long. They are actively preparing for the winter season: they make a descent for buns (the ground is covered with an excavator), a lift for buns up, tunnels have been built under which skiers will pass and do not cross the bun track and do not have to walk across the bridge to the lift
4. Guys-waiters in the restaurant for some reason do not know the menu for breakfast, confuse the order ....
Omelets here in the morning have the ability to "end" (despite the fact that there were those who wanted to have breakfast once, twice and after ... ) - in the words of the waiter "everything went to feed the children. " . . Apparently they "accidentally" forget to warn about the weight of the dish - seeing that I ordered stewed carp ONE, no one purred, but I was gladly given a "half-boar" weighing 700 grams. . . It is delicious, I had enough for the next day, you could just warn. . . Next - bacon is cut into omelets "very finely" (in fact - it was simply not there, but according to the waiter, who "asked in the kitchen" - it's just very finely chopped… As a result - the last day of arrival for breakfast spent more than 1.5 hours - because at first instead of an omelet they cooked an egg, and then they found out "was there bacon" ...The waitress girls - no questions, for some reason they had problems with the boys.
Our "good fairy" was the administrator Natalia Viktorivna (if I'm not mistaken) - all issues are easy to solve with her, but, people, it's not normal! ! ! ! ! The menu does not indicate all the dishes, how you can order - respectively, it is not clear what you can eat - according to the waiter or from the menu or "complex" (breakfast 100 UAH. , Obd 200 UAH. . Nothing so complex). Then they found out that you can take SEPARATELY just cheesecakes or just an omelet / egg… Prices - at the level of Kiev - the famous omelet "with bacon" - 42 UAH. , borsch 40 hryvnias. , mushroom cream soup - UAH 88.
Absolute lack of fruit - people, this is the season of apples, plums, grapes… 5 days of "fruit hunger" and the dream of apple, cream, grapes, pear…. WHY don't you have all this or why don't you agree that people should pick it up and buy it FOR MONEY ??? ? ?
On the positive side: they took skewers in the restaurant without any problems to fry kebabs (deposit UAH 200 for skewers and utensils, then return).
We also had a great roast on the grill, which we took with us (it costs 100 hryvnias). Delicious borsch with donuts. Pleasant bartender-barista and very pleasant previously mentioned restaurant administrator Natalia Viktorivna.
4. Terrible smell in the stable, bad attitude to two wonderful dogs… Of course, "Chanel" in the stable can not smell, but people - the eyes just eat the stinky smell of acetone… I'm not spoiled kiyanochka, all school holidays spent in the village with my grandmother and grandparents who kept a cow with a calf and I took care of the barn and animals… There should be no such thing in the room where LIVING creatures live. Dogs… A separate pain of mine. . . Gorgeous Laechka (boy) and most likely Bukovinian shepherd (girl) constantly live in cages. . .
The claws on the paws are simply long, if the dogs were walking, they would grind their claws on the stone, the ground, but the dogs are constantly sitting in this "chamber"… Although in my opinion - the area allows you to arrange more decent living conditions for dogs. For the first time we saw such a picture - dogs in cages, heat, empty water bowls… Dogs are gentle, immediately responded to our voices, laechka gave a paw and "talked" to us. They were stroked through the cage. They tried to find a caretaker (the dogs live near the stable) - no one… Here a bucket and a tap with water came to my eyes and it was decided to collect water to try to pour at least through the cage into bowls. When I opened the water, the dogs began to howl terribly.
And here - it turned out (sorry, but I have no other word) - what are you doing here, I've been working here for 10 years, it's your business to watch, I'll open the cage, they'll bite you and then you'll complain… These were the remarks at our request to drink dogs. The man is just purple… We were also purple about him and with grief we and the goddaughter and I managed to pour water for the dogs. The poor man drank water long and hard. The "overseer" looked, turned around, and walked away. The next day it was clear that no one changed our water… the same water was added. New water was poured somewhere, probably on the third day. The sad eyes of the bitch remained in my phone and in my memory. We fell in love with the dogs and visited them with the goddaughter every day, they got used to it and greeted us, waving their tails.
Who will be resting here - please look at the dogs, do they have water… They bark at first and it seems that they are evil, but speak gently to them - you will see how everything will change ! ! !!
5. Lack of any opportunity to obtain consumer goods (the same means of feminine hygiene). This is nowhere to be found… When asked at the reception if one of the employees can buy and bring - we were told that the change starts early (shops are closed) and ends late (shops are closed). Somehow… The idea to get this "treasure" by renting a bicycle failed - the rental of big ones also works only on weekends / holidays… and call a taxi and pay 200 hryvnias to get to the shop which I am not very far on the road - somehow managed « .
We went to the big rental on Saturday at 10:50 - empty, called the number on the banner and heard "this number is not serviced" and left no bet, did not wait for 11:00, when it seems like the start of the rental….
6. There is a zoo on the territory, I certainly do not like them, but here the situation is more or less. Although the lion and the lioness are sorry - in my opinion, they have not enough space, although there is a place to disperse (for example, wild boars are just lined up). Lions are well-groomed, not thin, so feed them well. There are 2 roe deer, 2 ostriches, otters or muskrats (very funny, two of them were arguing - one was sitting in a hut and did not let the other who wanted to go there (I called it "drunk man came home"? ). Funny sounds, I've never heard otters quarrel, there are goats, rabbits, a couple of geese, it's very unusual to hear a lion's roar at dinner, like on a safari… And one day it was heard near the lifts on the way back from the pond.
A good place, but such an organization and service, discourages the desire to return there again and advise him to relax. For 2-3 days - yes, for longer - unfortunately….
Then I want to tell separately about the restaurant....every time when ordering the same dish, they brought different ones : )))) in the literal sense... it seems that there is no clear recipe and portions at all... what was available they made a salad out of that, so it was always different! in the morning they wanted to have breakfast with the baby on the street in the gazebo near the restaurant, but they didn’t let us....two women began to urgently wash the floor there and there was so much bleach that it was even sitting on the street impossible....they, as if nothing had happened, with their mops almost drove over our legs !!! ! but the main indignation caused something else... next to us, vacationers ordered borscht and when it was served to them, they found hair in it and shells from seeds... it's just a nightmare, we just lost all appetite, we quickly left there... therefore, our review is extremely negative, although with proper management it would be possible to organize and recruit more qualified staff, since the place is very beautiful and the idea about the park, zoo, lake for wonderful!! !
