Zanzibar remained in the last century. Journey to Africa 2018
The neighbor's rooster became my enemies in Zanzibar. Every morning, at exactly six o'clock in the morning, the rooster starts yelling at his harem for verification.
Yesterday, in the evening, I had a great walk around Zanzibar at night. I ate a large bowl of soup where a young girl served me many additions to the soup, just like the first day in Zanzibar. Then I ordered a cake from one cook, from eight ingredients with the obligatory presence of meat, which he cooked in front of me and fried on a hot stainless steel. I barely got to the hotel, where I sent the material to the site, and went to bed.
And, after all this, the rooster deigned to wake me up early in the morning. After him, the chickens woke up and began to talk loudly among themselves, then the ducks, and an hour later the neighbor began to start his scooter. All this happened right under the window of my micro cell.
After all this, I approached the owner of this chicken coop, and asked him to cook me soup from a rooster. At first he thought, and then answered me that he had one rooster, the meat from it was not tasty, and who would trample the hens? Like, choose any chicken or duck. I answered him that I want to see this rooster in the pan, which wakes me up every day at exactly six in the morning. We didn't agree.
After this heartfelt conversation, I went to the office of the ferry company to buy a return ticket for the ferry to Dar es Salaam. There was no queue at the checkout, but in front of me was a huge dark woman with a huge square ass. She half climbed into the cash register window, leaving everything she had behind for viewing by those in the hall. The modest husband stood next to her, as if denoting that he was with her. After buying a ticket, I went to the very center. A continuous stream of cars, dust, heat and dullness with garbage. How do people live in such conditions, and what attracts tourists here? Sea?
Nature? Fruits? Exotic? Yes, Thailand in this regard is better than a hundred times, and the sea is the best in the Maldives. Walking downtown was terrible. Nothing to look at. Tried to get to the beach as soon as possible. Although the Indian Ocean in this place is dirty, but still fresh air and humidity. In Namibia, the Atlantic Ocean is much better.
That's what advertising does, and not objective descriptions of some tourists. I repeat that in any country in the world, even in the worst country, there are beautiful places. Example of Haiti. The country sucks, but the places are beautiful and the sea is clean, especially with a good hotel. In Zanzibar, I did not look for beautiful places, and why should I. What I saw is enough for me. Well, better to the south of South Africa than to Zanzibar.
Nothing is being built on Zanzibar. Lives without repair and improvement.
